About the property
In a blissfully remote corner of the South Hams, you will find a small terrace of stone cottages inside a tranquil barn conversion. Having been recently refurbished, Kine Cottage is an immaculately presented two-bedroom holiday home that sleeps up to four people.
Stroll across the front garden and into the house to find the two bedrooms on the ground floor. They include a master bedroom with a king-sized bed, as well as a twin room which has a single bed and optional trundle pull out bed, allowing for flexible use of the space. You will also find the bathroom on the ground floor, complete with a bath and overhead shower.
Stroll upstairs and you’re greeted by a light and airy open plan living, kitchen and dining area with vaulted ceilings, skylights, and views of the surrounding countryside. Contemporary fixtures and fittings combined with wooden beams give it a homely feel, while a flatscreen television, comfy L-shaped sofa and new kitchen create a modern environment to relax in.
To the front of the property, you will find a private garden with a table, chair and a barbecue. To the rear there is a communal lawn that’s shared with the other houses in the terrace. Kine Cottage welcomes well behaved dogs, and its location is ideal for walkers, with multiple footpaths leading directly from the house across the fields. It’s also helpful to know that it has two allocated parking spaces for guests to use during their stay.
Recommended for: The cottage is perfect for romantic getaways, families of four or friends looking for a quiet retreat.
Favourite feature: The property was recently refurbished and is immaculately presented inside.
Need to know: Kine Cottage is in a blissfully remote location, which is very much the basis of its appeal. It is ideal for walkers, and you will definitely need a car when staying here.
