Mount Folly Farm House is set on the cliff top commanding spectacular views.
Bigbury-on-Sea is a small coastal village on Devon's South Coast. It has large sandy beaches, rock pools and is safe for swimming. It is also a great place for walking, along the beach, across the farm, over to Burgh Island at low tide or around the River Avon.
It has all the local services that you could want with a beach cafe, a pub, a beach shop, village stores and even a golf club!
But you can just stay at home and enjoy the breathtaking views from the garden.
The accommodation is half of the large Edwardian farmhouse, is completely self contained, with its own garden area and several parking spaces.

The main bedroom has 1 king size and 1 single bed and a wash basin.
There is another double room with a wash basin. The third bedroom has bunk beds.
Also Family Bathroom (bath with shower over).

There are so many great restaurants and pubs nearby, The Journey's End, The Dolphin, The Oyster Shack, The Ring Feeder, The Pilchard Inn on Burgh Island, The Modbury Inn. In addition there are many more summer takeaways also.
So much to do locally, great watersport and surf lesson / board & wetsuit hire from Discovery Surf on our nearest beach. You can wander over to the famous Art Deco Burgh Island at low tide and walk to the top for the best views of the coastline. And if the tide is in you can catch the Sand Tractor for an exciting ride back to the mainland. There's super family fun at Pennywell Farm visitor centre and thrilling rides at Woodlands Theme Park, near Dartmouth. Guided wild swimming/ swooshing on the river or around Burgh Island. SUP options on the river Avon or in Kingsbridge estuary or at Bigbury beach. Dartmoor Zological Park ( featured in the film, "We bought a zoo!"). River cruise the Kingsbridge estuary down to the popular seaside town of Salcombe, visit the bijoux Salcombe boutiques and avoid having to find somewhere to park ! Sea fishing trips from Salcombe or Plymouth. There are also many attractions at Plymouth, the historic Barbican, Smeaton's Tower on the Hoe, the Royal William Yard, Mount Edgecombe and The National Marine Aquarium. There's a miniature ride on train at Kingsbridge which is a delight for all ages, and the shops at Kingsbridge are great for groceries or having a mooch for gifts & clothing. And golf, we are a couple of minutes away from Bigbury Golf Club and just around the coast there is Thurlestone Golf Club, so two outstanding 18 hole courses, with breath taking sea views on your doorstep.
