This hotel is conveniently located right beside Timmies. lol the hotel was quiet and clean. They are working on up grading and still have some work to do. A chair outside the patio door would be a nice addition. And new pillows!

The staff was great the property and rooms good use a make over and a good clean as for the sheets were dirty all had stains on them

could do with a little updating of some of the furniture such as lamps and cart for microwave. Tub has some mold. We enjoyed making our own waffles and was plenty of supply and staff were helpful as well.

The room was dirty, potato chips on the floor beside the bed, and room was riddled with flies. Very noisy until all hours. Had to listen to someone vomitting right outside my window about 3am. The attached pub/restaurant was fine and their pizza was great.

Our experience at the Cambridge Super 8 was certainly not as pleasurable as the Peterborough Super 8 the week before. Unlikely we would stay in the Cambridge Super 8 again.

Most of the staff, especially at the front desk, is rude and unprofessional: 1) Some would leave the front desk for a smoke outside for a long time while on the phone for obvious personal calls, and while customers were trying to check out. When I ask an East-African-looking cleaning lady where the front-desk clerk was, she nonchalantly pointed at her outside smoking. When I ask: But who is supposed to call her when a client is checking out? She made sure I saw that SHE DID NOT CARE! I could only a) angrily say that "someone is supposed to be at the front desk at all times", drop the keys on the counter; c) go outside and tell the clerk that the keys are on the counter because I checked out from room 102. The clerk NEVER stopped talking on the phone while smoking or made eye contact while dismissively saying to me "okay". 2) When other customers wanted a refund possibly for a non-valid reason or had other concerns, another clerk was ALWAYS heavy-handedly confrontational instead of adopting a soft approach. 3) The toilet in my room regularly would NOT flush until I opened the bowl cover to assist. 4) Some of the towels looked used up, old, and borderline dirty/clean.

Garbage Dump stay would be cleaner
If I was Hotel .com I would be refunding my money back . I didnt even stay there walked in the front door place stank like a garabage dump the halls looked like hell and there were call girls hanging in front of the motel. Hotel.com how could you even recommend this place

Management does not communicate with staff. We asked the front desk for a late checkout, which was agreed to, come the normal check out time the house cleaning entered my room while I was still sleeping. I find this unacceptable as my privacy has been violated. Secondly I asked to borrow a charger for the night and was told that I would be able to use it until check-out. Come 7:30 am someone is banging on my door asking for the charger back. It is not worth the extra saving to stay in this dingy hotel with pillows that are lumpy and hard. I find that there are certainly much better options in the surround area if you can spare the extra couple bucks. Overall definitely a terrible experience and would never stay at this location again.

Please do not book this hotel. I never usually pay attention to negative reviews, but please read this. I arrived at 3am and was given my room. I was a single woman travelling and i felt unsafe. The hotel stunk of cigarette smoke, there were a number of people hanging out in the parking lot smoking outside the rooms and it was very loud in the wing i was assigned. I struggled to open and close the door, and the room was clean but stunk of smoke and i could hear peple outside and in the hall. I felt UNSAFE, so i left and spent an hour trying to find another hotel. Expedia and Super 8 are not giving me a refund. I feel customer safety is a priority, but i guess Expedia and Super 8 do not feel the same way.
