Huge room. Clean and cozy. Big screen TV. Kettle and tea and coffee facilities provided. Large en-suite. Sadly only one elevator operational which meant a long wait as it struggled to cope with the demands of six floors of guests and room service movements. Better and quicker to use stairs at least for downward trips 8-)

Check in no problem staff helpful and if you arrive before check in time there is a secure place for your bags so you can still enjoy the day in the city. Same again on check out day. My sister and I stayed for one night in a twin room. This room was very dated. Bathroom needs a good revamp. Bath panel coming away from the wall and bottom of door was rotting. Very old fashioned shower. The public area of the hotel was beautiful.

The property is dirty, the rooms very poor condition and dated, bed was uncomfortable, the pillows didn't have pillow protectors, staff unhelpful, requested clean towels, they never arrived, i had to ask a second time. Cleaner was unhelpful. Broken ironing board was given to the cleaners and wasn't replaced. Room was noisy from outside nouse, Just felt like a very unprofessional establishment.

Beautiful building a little dated in some areas like the bathroom. Absolutely perfect location. We were very pleasantly surprised by the value for money. Will definitely use this hotel in the future.

I love this building even though it is outdated. My room was clean and comfortable apart from the pillows. Staff pleasant and helpful. All in all it is what it is an old property

The hotel itself was very good, but as with other Britannia properties, the check in was very slow, with too few staff trying to help too many people with check in, luggage, other issues etc.

I know it was central which is what we were looking for but there were vagrants all over the place around the main doors all day long that is quite intimidating a lot of noise in the corridor at one time we thought they were going to try and get into our room im guessing they were drunk they said the car park came with the hotel and for what i paid for it i though it would have done that cost another £24 on top of the room then the breakfast was another £14 each if we wanted it that was per day so i found it very expensive for somewhere in Liverpool that has vagrant out side asking people for money all day long

When we walked in we thought the hotel was lovely from the reception area. However, when we went to our room the opinion changed. Our room had cracks in the ceiling, dirty windows, cracked paint around the window, no main light and the tv couldn’t get working. We also left our bags in the storage facility to come back and collect them, when we did we found the storage room left open which we was unimpressed about. We won’t be staying here again unfortunately.
