Travelled with family, Travelled with family and small children
The property is nice and has all required aspects for a family stay with kids with a small kids library shelf near the reception, vending machine and dining hall access throughout.
Staff were also very nice and parking was ample and easy.
Only regret for this property was the carpet in the room was quite old, stained and dusty - it needs replacement or deep cleaning. There were left over beverage bottle under the bed from previous occupants.
The bunker bed system was a boon to a family like ours with a 11 year kid but the mattress could be a bit more soft.
Nice, clean room. Perfect for staying with 2 young kids as the loved sleeping up top. Bed was a little hard for me as was the pillow but for a no frills stop over it was perfect for a great price.
Stayed here for one night on the way from Matsumoto to the Fuji 5 lakes area. Free parking provided. The hotel seems new and is located on Route 20.. The standard double room is clean and bright and thus did not feel cramped even though only 14sqm. Aircon and shower were also in good condition. The staff were friendly and spoke limited English. Breakfast was simple but adequate. There are several restaurants in the vicinity for dinner. We tried the BBQ beef restaurant just next door and it was good. If on a tight budget, this can be a good place to stay for visit to the 5 lakes area where hotels are much more expensive. It's about 40 mins drive.
The hotel looks new and fresh. Ample parking lots and there are restaurants just across the roads. Also nearby is a good price store that sells many products and open till 3am.
Took the family to a vacation to climb Mt Kita-dake. The overall hotel has great. The staff did not speak much English, but did try to work with you to make sure that your need were met. The hotel even had a laundry room to wash your clothes, which is a nice feature. The rooms are small for three people, Japan hotels are not very big to begin with. The only thing that I can really mention is the bed, they are hard. That is what a traditional Japanese mattress are like, after sleeping on the ground on the mountain for three days, I did not mind coming back to the hotel and sleeping on bed.
The hotel is about a 5-7 minute taxi ride from the train station and is pretty easy to spot with its big sign. The room is simple, but clean and is pretty typical of Japanese business hotels. For the price, it is a good value. Breakfast was not included in our reservation, but we found a quick and tasty Japanese restaurant across the street. Our only complaint is that we tried to email the hotel several times to confirm it would be alright for us to check in late in the evening (around 10pm) and they never responded. Thankfully, it was not an issue, as the desk was staffed when we arrived. Would certainly stay there again.
