I booked a suite for Rs 3850.00/day, but when i checked in, and i found it was just an ordinary room, A/C was disturbing, No Elevator. i request you please do not to this hotel and spend your money. I would have given below 1. Since There is no rating below 1.however they deserve a big (ZERO) 0.
It was nearer to the city. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms was not clean and disappointing. We did not stay there after seeing the room..
The photograph that's given of the facade of the hotel does not belong to the hotel at all. The hotel is on the 2nd floor and a narrow stairway leads to it.. Cleanliness is bad. Interior looks similar but completely drab, dirty curtains, they were hanging of the curtain rod, Bathroom had some water problem, no room service. There was altogether one boy who cleaned the room, brought tea after 11/2 hours & 4 phone calls, and also were showing of the rooms to the guest. The experience was disappointing. I will not trust Make my trip book hotels anymore
Hotel owners clearly tried to refurbish this hotel recently, but it would have benefited with better towels and sheets than flat screen TVs. The place was disgusting. It became impossible to sleep, the linens were filthy. On top of the conditions of the rooms, the hotel staff were generally rude and unhelpful.
Despite a couple of negative reviews, we were all in all fairly happy with the choice we had made in deciding on Hotel Trimoorti. The staff were specially helpful, in particular Jeet and Narayanan. Being in a very central location of Kolkata we had no problem getting taxis back to the hotel from any part of the city even late at night. The homely atmosphere was well worth the price we paid, and we would certainly recommend the hotel.
The Suite was decently large. The best part was the location of the hotel which is at the heart of the city. Room was tidy but the room service was questionable. Overall a budget hotel to hang out at the heart of the city for a night or two.
I could not believe that this was the hotel Expedia sent me to and not at the price paid for sure! a friend that came to pick me up was equally taken aback at the price-quality aspect and I think this is positively the worst hotel I have ever spent a night in. The aircon in my room made as much noise as a huge truck in my ear...no exaggeration....
a total rip off!! The hotel doesn't have a kitchen of its own, everything is ordered from a nearby atrocious tasting punjabi dhaba. It takes about 45 min to arrive. They can't even arrange for a taxi for sightseeing/airport transfers. There was no tea maker in the room,no jug for cold water,no bucket in the bathroom;water is sent to the rooms in old mineral water bottles. It is located in a narrow alley.PLEASE AVOID EVEN IF YOU GET PAID TO STAY.

Good service
The hotel staff was very attentive to making sure that services were delivered. Response to requests were prompt. Location is convenient to Forum Mall where there is a food court with international brands like Pizza Hut, Subway, etc.
I dont recommend this hotel to anyone. It doesnt have their own resturent they bring your meals from a local dhaba. The staff is horrible.

Not centrally located, but clean
It wasn't really centrally located. We had to walk about 20-30 minutes to get to anything. You could take a cab and it would only be about 10 minutes. It would have been good to have a restaurant in the hotel so we didn't have to have breakfast in our room, but it was nice to be able to get it in our room at least.
The hotel was decent for the price and appeared to be clean. Location is great for sightseers -- not too far from the Maidan. However, it was at least an hour drive from the Kolkata airport. The manager, Jith, was helpful and accommodating. The one negative is that hotel is located in a noisy area -- constant auto horns and dogs howling throughout the night.
Clean with helpful staff. Geared more to Indian business travellers and hadd no common space. Breakfast is in your room and there is no wifi. Could get lonely if you were travelling onn your own. I liked the neighborhood with a coffee bar in the Forum Mall and a good bookstore nearby If you want a taxi to find the place tell them where it is relative to the Forum Mall... Stayed one week here and then one week on Sudder street to have different experiences. Was glad to have had both.
I am afraid that I cannot add anything positive about this hotel. If you want to get "rested", this is not the place for you. You may pay a price equivalent to most 3-star hotels in Kolkata, but because of the constant honking of vehicles even in the odd hours of the day in the narrow street by the side of the hotel, sleeping is difficult. Also, do not expect the room service to be swift. There are no convenient eating places nearby except a few snack centers. Overall, not worth your money.
Service here is terrible. This hotel has no restaurant, no room service, no lobby, dirty linen, telephone not functioning, no towels or soap provided until requested. The area has no restaurants. The staff will not help you find a taxi. Don't be fooled by the nice photos. The rooms are spacious and modern, but nothing else works.
Truely horrible! We've stayed in lot's of hotels and guest houses all over India, but this was by far the worst! There were cigarette buts on the floor, tissue paper scattered over the room, burn holes in the bed sheet, lot's of used soap bars in the bathroom and hair all over the shower. If we hadn't arrived late and left early morning we'ed leave straight away. I wish someone would have warned us of this "hotel"!
