Cabin was so nice and warm even when snowing outside and was the perfect place to stay over Christmas! All of the little touches really show how much hosts care about your experience there. "I like that fact that it is centrally located and with in walking distance of the downtown area. The area is quiet, which is a huge plus. The room that my partner and I were in this trip could use a little work on the flooring (uneven in the bathroom) and the ceiling (looks like the drywall tape is failing). I heard that the owners are working on renovations so I don't hold it against. Great place to rest your head. 5 stars. "

"Our stay was peaceful and relaxing as we hoped and needed. It was comforting being in a beautiful location and only a short distance off Highway 2 it should the weather turn bad, which it didn't. My only complaint was I had to wing it with no measuring cup."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Lodge. There were 8 adults. The deck was perfect for enjoying meals and visits. The house was stocked with everything we needed and there were plenty of beds for everyone. Tom was very helpful and made the whole process of checking in and out so easy. He even let us check out later than 10:00am. It was hard to leave! Thank you Tom for sharing your wonderful Savage Lake Lodge."
