Terrible! It was awful and the pictures are clearly old. The pool was green and not useable. There was no restaurant like listed. I wanted to cancel my booking when I got there because they lied about amenities. Then the only employee there started less than 1 week ago and told me that the manager wasn’t there, and couldn’t be contacted. I told Hotels.com who tried calling the hotel 3 times on a Friday afternoon and no answer! So I ended up paying for a night here which I did not stay!
Once upon a time, probably when the photos were taken, this was a great place. It is no longer. It primarily functions as a nightclub 7 nights a week, 3 nights with music until around 3 and 4 nights with music around 6.00 am. It does not look as though any maintenance has been done in 20 years. The air con units are falling off the walls and any fitting which can be smashed by drunks has been. It looks as though the doors to the chapel have been torn off. Broken beer bottle glass is everywhere on the beach and embedded between rocks. The 6 rooms by the nightclub can’t be rented out for obvious reasons so that only leaves 2 others. I swapped rooms as the air con unit was leaking profusely down the wall and onto the floor. The second room’s circuit breaker for the sockets had tripped and could not be reset as nothing was plugged in so I was hooked up with power via 4 extension cords from my previous room. There is no restaurant and breakfast was a loaf of bread, lettuce and spam. The list goes on and on. I only stayed the 3 nights as I had prepaid. Having said all this the 2 locals who worked there were very helpful.
This hotel is absolutely disgusting! Dirty dirty dirty! The pool is more like a mud pit and there is broken glass everywhere. Also they have a night club that goes until 5 in the morning and they have the music is so loud you cant even sleep. Found ourself on the road hitch hiking in the middle of the night through the jungle roads of Fiji. This place is not safe or clean at all! Was so disappointed in our stay.

One of the best place to snorkel without a boat
This place is the oldest resort, the corals front of the place is the nicest I saw , deeper water than in most places. Garden was well maintained, our room was spaces, but clean, good bed, good WIFI, good breakfast, good parking. They were in a process of cleaning up the pool, there is a disco on the premises, if you need good sleep this may affect it if your room is close to it. Our unit was in a separate bldg, but night time the noise travels far. Kaori san the manager was was nice, place under new ownership, planning many improvements.
I will try to make it short:
Negatives:
-this is more a night club than a hotel
-manager barely speaks English
-we booked 2ppl in a dorm for 67dollars and got no choice but to take a room for 100dollars (even though we saw no other guests, and we could book it online)
-worst check-in process EVER! In a nutshell, the manager lady looked like she wanted us gone. When we arrived, the employee told us we should book online and after doing so, the manager showed up stating that it's not possible to stay if we booked online for the same day (even after I showed her all possible proofs the money had been taken from my account) It took us quite a while to solve the situation and felt like we where takling to a wall.
- place for breakfast (nightclub) flooded all the time
-1 hour wait for breakfast: with a "nice" toast that clearly fell on a disgusting floor and got placed back on the plate
- Kula Eco Park is not 4.7km away but 22km!
-Noise at night from the club. We are OK with the music but screaming druken people all night long is just not bearable.
-After looking for my daily medication, I realized they just thew it in the bin .Those are pills I NEED to take and no "hotel" staff should touch them, let alone throw them away.
Positives:
- staff was friendly with us
- shower has hot water
- the manager drove us to Kula Eco Park
- the security guy is very nice and I felt better knowing he was there
This can be an OK place to party but definitely not a nice hotel.

Liked: Staff & service
Nice outlook and peaceful
The hotel is quite run down but for the price on Wotif I thought it was excellent value for the amenities. Staff were very attentive. Outlook and sunsets lovely. I liked the village horses wandering around, but they did leave the odd bit of poo, which some people might find a challenge. Very roomy with clean sheets and towels.

Nice place to sleep, close to the beach and cheap.
We just used the place for sleeping, as they only serve a supposedly continental breakfast, but I rather eat some where else. If you like a bit of noise than its for you, because Thursday to Saturday is Disco till early morning, and the villagers also attend.
I certainly would not call this a 'resort' and I would rate it at the same or lower standard of accommodation than a NZ backpackers or camping ground. The unit I stayed in was below average by international standards, as was the one breakfast I had there. It was simply cheap accommodation and anyone staying there should not expect a resort like experience. At best, expect a reasonable bed with a functioning toilet and shower, nothing more. At least the six Geckos in my room were entertaining
Lovely location, great staff, dreadful maintenance
Broken glass and bottles on beach, cold breakfasts, noisy discos, no shade for cars. Dreadful maintenance, great staff, rooms cleaned very well

strange a bit but very beautiful place.
We were disappointed when we arrived at first. But we became to love this place and these people. staffs were very kind and friendly. And the owner was very careful.
the main building looked old and very basic. But our room looked quite new and clean. And the best thing was the beach. it was the heaven for snorkeling.
I really recommend this hotel if you want stay good place with small money.
place is run down, leaky toilets, old dirty bath tub with old shower and shower handles, Can't really swim in the Ocean front very rocky, Food is terrible, after dark the place is crowded by locals because of the pub.not very safe to bring a family or a car.( one of the locals tried opening my car door) Old tiny tv with barely working DVD player is all u get for entertainment.power outage 3 times in the middle of the night.Overall experience very bad
