Only overnight stay to catch a flight. Hotel stay generally pleasant. Breakfast provided. Only drawback is the hotel is located on the wrong side of the city on a very busy road.

Great location, room was clean and comfortable. Friendly staffs.Price was reasonable and free breakfast. This my 5th time stay in this hotel. Will be back again for my next trip.

Located at the fringe of the city, the Holiday Inn Express is a very quiet hotel. The hotel and the rooms were clean, the queen-sized bed plus the pillows were very comfortable and provided restful sleep. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the same typical Malaysian food everyday. Could have been better if there was variation especially for me who stayed there for 6 days. Nearby, there were a few seafood restaurants. Transport to the nearby city centre and shopping outlets is easily available by Grab.

Cheerful, efficient and helpful staff. The housekeeping staff kept the room clean and provided fresh sheets every day. Coffee bar was replenished every day. The front office staff were cheerful, friendly and knowledgeable. Check-in and check-out accomplished within 5 minutes. Breakfast spread was sufficiently comprehensive. Just need to replenish finished items promptly during peak period. Good spread of bread, pastries and kuih kuih. The hotel could do with 24-hour room service for late arriving guests. It was a very pleasant 4-day stay at this hotel.

Poor Expression
Assigned a room facing the hill and the window was covered up. Terrible thing to do where guest can draw the day and night curtains accordingly. The breakfast food and service were a mad house. Food qualify was poor and soiled dishes were all over the tables. Location is poor with no supporting commercial building or amenities.

The laundry service is very convenient for use especially for people who just finish hiking mount KK and will still be staying at Sabah for few more days, definitely don't want to keep those dirty clothing around for few days. Can have more units of the washer and dryer.

Gd location, clean, well maintained, everything working well, gd decent breakfast, near to food & shopping areas. Crossing the 2 roads to the food & shopping area quite a challenge.
