It was clean & quiet, the view from the window was beautiful. Don’t use google maps to find it or it will take you to the wrong place. I used Apple Maps with no problem. Breakfast in the morning was a nice bonus. The bathroom could use a toilet paper holder, towel rack, soap dish & shower shelf to hold personal items, & washcloths. I would like to suggest pictures on the wall to give a more cozy feel. The room is confusing to find (it appears to be conference rooms converted to hotel rooms). It suited our purposes & the price was right.

Quiet and well run. Good staff. My only minor complaint would be that the taxi they arranged to take me to the airport took advantage and badly overcharged me. But I guess that is more on me than them.

The room smelled like urine, we suspect it was the carpet. We had to ask for an extra towel because we got 2 for 2 people. The receptionist was very nice, but the place was like a ghost town and the only way to get to the airport is by taxi. Nothing to do or eat nearby, other than a bar.

Hotel Azul Jan 19
Hotel Azul is very convenient to the airport with underground parking. There is an issue with their heating / plumbing which at times was very noisy, however I did sleep very well. Not sure Euro 140 a night is in line with similar rated hotels, but would not hesitate to stay again when arriving on a late evening flight.

Close to Ljubljana airport. Good value,
Hotel very conveniently located close to Ljubljana’s airport. Great service - 24 hour reception with very friendly staff who even offered to give us a packaged breakfast if we had to leave early. Very clean and big rooms. Only drawback is the fact that it is located in an industrial estate so nowhere really close to go for dinner other than a snack shack close by. Having said that, it does what it says in the tin: close the airport and good value for money.
