They addressed all the questions I had. The breakfast selection was healthy and high quality but a bit limited. I think that’s ok if you have one or two day trip.

Excellent hotel location
It’s amazing, the staff is friendly and professional, always with a smile. The room is well kept and it is spacious in Japan standard. Excellent location, the hotel is just next to Kumamoto station. And it is easy to go to the attractions by taking the tram in front of Kumamoto station. Will definitely recommend to my friends and families. I will pick this hotel if I ever come again, simply love it! 😍

Hotel was great and service was excellent but the location was inconvenient vis-à-vis the points of interest in the city unless you had a car (luckily we did). Rooms are spacious and the public baths are good. It’s a bit of a faff going through the car park, then the mall, to then get to the hotel; but you get used to it after a day - however if you have children or elderly people in your group, it would be massively inconvenient just based on the amount of walking and navigation you need to do to get yourself to the hotel from the parking lot and back. So we would probably not stay here next time due to the location and inaccessibility.
