This property exceeded all expectations. The room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff at the property were attentive, personable, and always helpful. And everyone smiled a lot. The restaurants were perfect and the food abide par. I highly recommend the Kyoto Ace Hotel.

The Ace Hotel is centrally located in Kyoto, which makes it perfect for business and leisure. We stayed in a Historic Double queen room (#214) and absolutely loved it. The room was huge, well equipped and very quiet. The hotel staff is engaging and refreshing, always willing to help where needed and incredibly friendly. The hotel itself is beautiful, full of modern art and has impeccable interior design elements.

I usually have 5 star reviews for other Ace hotels but this one missed the mark. The location and rooms are great but both of the restaurants were lacking in service. The staff seemed overworked and it felt chaotic
