Great hotel. Clean, modern and right in the middle of downtown. Short walk to shopping, public transportation, restaurants, etc. The immediate area around the hotel can be a little touristy and obnoxious, but it didn't diminish our time there. Note: don't pay for the breakfast in advance, there are many restaurants & coffee shops in the neighborhood, and you are sure to find something you like very quickly. Recommended!

We stayed at the Cross Hotel during our recent trip to Japan in October 2024. Everything was amazing! The property is clean, friendly and accommodating staff, and the location was perfect! The location is within walking distance to Nishiki Market and down the street from Kawaramachi Street Market. There are a huge shopping center and food hall down the street. The food hall had so many different selections of food. We will definitely be coming back to Cross Hotel for our trip to Japan in 2026.

Great location with lots of dining and shopping options. As it is off the main road, it was a quiet stay. Staff were lovely, knowledgeable and attentive to our needs as we required assistance with luggage forwarding services. Buffet breakfast was lovely with lots of variety. Our room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

I had a wonderful weeklong stay at the Cross Hotel. The rooms are very well appointed, very well soundproofed in a quiet area. The hotel is new and lovely as well as being next to all kinds of shops and dining options. Staff was friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied
