The staff are lovely and super helpful. The rooms are clean but, unfortunately considering the costs the overall experience wasn't worth it. For a standard room it's terribly small, especially for a couple with luggage, there's no storage soace. The pillows are awful, hard and uncomfortable with no alternative. Like most hotels the heating is centrally controlled but it gets unbearable warm. The windows don't open making the air stagnant. There's AC but, I personally don't like to have this on a constant. The local area doesn't have much going for it but, it's conveniently located near to the station.

Great hotel, great base when staying in Kyoto. subway station is opposite hotel and is one stop 5mins from Kyoto station. Breakfast was good definitely would recommend staying here

Staff are excellent, room was bigger than expected with very convenient amenities. Storage lockers in the lobby were very nice. Location is good, not too far from Kyoto station and well connected to the rest of the city by public transit. Clean, safe area.

Not a lot of food options immediately around the hotel, though 5-10mins walk you will find a lot more. It's a very convenient location in terms of transit if one looking for a more reasonable price range

One of our favourite hotels we stayed at. The free drinks and snacks for overnight guests were a plus. I also loved being able to lock our luggages and things in the storage area when we checked out. It made things so much easier for us and was a smooth process retrieving our items. The staff were so nice and welcoming despite the language barrier :)

From all of the hotels that we stayed in for our honeymoon, this was the best one. It was very spacious compared to most hotels. It was near a very huge mall that you can go shopping, eat and get dessert at underneath the subway so you were able to get to that yet it was so quiet and clean. We were really impressed by the friendliness of the staff and as well as the free desserts Coffees, the teas and snacks! I really appreciate it how it was definitely the most relaxing part of our trip to be in Kyoto. I felt like it definitely fit the vibe. The only issue is that when walking by the rooms you can kind of hear what people are saying so just FYI, but other than that, you cannot hear anybody in your room just when you walk by there door, but it was definitely worth it. It’s one of the hotels and it’s very lovely.
