The hotel is located steps away from Kyoto Station, so convenient! Having their in-house onsen was also quite a treat, especially for people who may not have the time to go to standalone ones elsewhere. They also offer free snacks throughout the day. The front desk staff are also quite friendly and helpful. I decided to extend my stay for 1 more night and was initially assigned to a bigger room that's pricier. Eventually, they informed me that I could stay in my original room and pay less. I appreciate that they looked after my budget and convenience. I would definitely stay here or their other properties again on my future visits to Japan.

I used this as my home base for a week while I explored Kyoto, and I loved it! The property is comfortable and well-maintained, the location is ideal for exploring Kyoto by train, the breakfast spread is fantastic, I loved the salmon! The hot springs/spa is the perfect way to end the day, the staff is friendly—I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I'm already planning my next trip.
