Unacceptable Cleaning and Hygiene Standards

"Disappointing Stay at Hotel Forza Kyoto I recently booked two rooms for a two-night stay at Hotel Forza Kyoto through (link unavailable) Unfortunately, my experience was marred by a sanitation issue that left a poor impression. Upon checking into one of the rooms, I was dismayed to find hair on the bed sheets of both beds. I immediately contacted the front desk, and they promptly offered to change our room. However, this process wasted valuable time - approximately an hour - which was frustrating given our limited stay in Kyoto. I was expecting a higher standard of cleanliness, especially from a hotel partnered with (link unavailable), which I have always trusted to provide excellent customer service. I hope that Hotel Forza Kyoto will take steps to improve their housekeeping standards to prevent similar experiences in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely,

Great stay just like the 1st time

This is our 2nd time staying here after a fantastic experience last time. Location and condition of the hotel are superb. Additional perks such as one free sake tasting per night and 24 hours coffee machine (their mocha latte is the best) are available. Only downside is the bed is slightly towards the harder side and pillows are either too hard or too low but some may just love it as is.

Excellent hotel, room was very spacious with wide range of amenities. Access to washing machine in our room made it so convenient when travelling with kids. There’s no front desk but check in and check out processes are easy to follow. Located minutes from train station and 15 minute walk to Dotonbori. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing staff and good location’ beautiful lobby

We stayed at Hotel Forza Shijo Kawaramachi, for 4 nights. The staff is amazing very understanding, they arrange for your needs and requests almost immediately. I requested extra bedding and it was provided immediately. The staff, especially Mr Sato was excellent at communicating with my previous hotel to arrange delivery/pickup of our wedding rings which we forgot at our previous hotel. During my stay i needed an iron, a flat hair iron, which the hotel was able to provide. They have a microwave in the lobby to use, it would be better if we had one in the room to warm up baby bottles, but we used the one in the lobby just fine. They received our luggage from Yamato service before we checked in. The room service is available. Bathroom is clean and separate for each shower, toilet and wash/sink. The rain shower is amazing and super hot!! Love it. I wish we had booked two rooms for our family as the rooms are a little smaller, but we mostly spent our day outside so we were fine with it, The location is very good, station is close by, all stores, Tokyo hands, 7/11 and amazing restaurants all are nearby. We were able to walk to ninenzaka and sanenzaka street in 20 mins. Lots to do nearby. Hotel also provided free coffee and hot chocolate every day! All staff was amazing at communicating and all services.

The location is great! It’s right In the smack of everything. Rolex is right next door. The only thing is the elevator is slow and the Lindsey drying machine is slow slow slow. It took almost two hours for it to dry. Overall will stay again due to the location

The location is superb, directly in the heart of Teramachi and Shinkyogoku Shopping Arcades. A lot of shops and malls nearby and you can easily get back to rest or put your stuff down at the hotel. The room was in great condtion, nice separated bathtub and shower (superior twin extra bed). One thing i personally didn't like was the lighting in the hallway and in the room. A bit too dark and the light was too warm as in too orange-ish.

Great location with great service. Tons of different shops around the area, very close to transit. Staff was super helpful and we able to answer our questions, and also had pocket translators in case they didn't quite understand. Rooms were very clean and kept to that standard during our stay.
