This property is absolutely gorgeous and chic. Stayed a few nights while exploring Kyoto. The train station is a few minutes walk, and overall location was perfect for sightseeing. The property does have an onsen for guests- just note that no tattoos are allowed! The onsen was a deciding factor for booking this property, so it was disappointing to learn we could not use it. Otherwise, perfect stay

4인가족이 방문했습니다~ 아이들이 철덕이라 오직 철도박물관 방문을 위해 여기에 숙박했는데 너무 만족스러웠어요~! 걸어서 5분거리. 공원도 있고 아쿠아리움 있어서 좋아요! 교토역은 지하철 1정거장이고 대욕장도 있고 객실이 매우 깨끗해요:) 직원분들도 너무 친절하고 바우처를 지급해주는데 1층 기념품을 저렴하게 구매했어요~ 지하철역하고 호텔 2층이 육교로 연결되어있어 캐리어 이동시 편리합니다! 다만 주변에 먹거리가 그닥없어요ㅠ 그거하나빼면 넘 만족스러웠어요! 츠지야 우메코지키타점이 걸어서 몇분 안걸리고 식사하기좋습니다. 꼬치 전문점이고 구글맵으로 예약 꼭 해야 웨이팅안해요 ㅠ

This hotel is beautiful and peaceful—perfect for anyone who prefers staying away from crowded areas. Its location right across from the train station makes travel incredibly convenient. My friends, my wife, and I booked multiple rooms, and we were all impressed by the cleanliness and excellent amenities. I’ll definitely book this hotel again the next time I visit Kyoto!

Hotel Emion is a beautiful and modern hotel situated in a sleepy and quaint location just 5 mins walk from the train station. My family of 4 adults shared one room as they offer an option with 4 double beds, which worked out great. The room felt spacious and clean and the bathroom was great, as the sink area, shower/tub, and toilet were all separated. Helped with us all getting ready each day. There are multiple restaurants on the 1st and 2nd floor, as well as some vendors selling various items and souvenirs. I saw that they also offer a pottery/painting class. There is also a public onsen which we didn't use due to having tattoos, which is explicitly prohibited. The sushi spot across the street was fresh and delicious and there is a 7 Eleven next door. We spent most of our time visiting other areas of Kyoto as there isn't a lot to do near the hotel. There is a park, train museum, and aquarium nearby. The staff at the hotel was very polite and they do offer luggage transfers for a fee.

We loved this hotel. Clean, and most of the staff is superb and professional, except for one male employee at the check-in counter who was rude and unprofessional. We asked him a Narrita Express question and he looked at us like we were idiots and said "don't ask us, ask the JR line" in a very demeaning tone. WOW ...this is unacceptable for someone who works in a hotel. On the other hand, I have to say the ONSEN they have on property is the BEST. Everything is provided for you. Steam, Dry, Big hot tub with jets, lockers, towels, and shower areas. Inside the salon area, other than the basic hair dryer and face/hand lotions, they even provided hair brushes, toothbrushes and toothpaste. This Onsen is very compatible to the paid Onsen. Since it is away from the town center, the rooms are bigger and the bathroom and the sink are much bigger. It's also much more comfortable.

The problem with the hotel is that they give welcome drinks which barely can use, only for alcohol drink but not much for none drinker. And restaurant vouchers are not useful as not for lunch. And staff are good in their service but the housekeeper are poorly maintained. Just a disappointing staying in the hotel but mostly likely will not book anymore. And hardly anyone speaks much English in the hotel.
