I'll give Emion Kyoto hotel a 5 star. It had everything a customer was looking for. Staff were excellent and the room were clean and large. Walking distance to every scenario you expected as a traveler. Will stay here again.

great hot bath, many culture workshops! Wow I love
This is a great hotel to stay for foreigners and family! Has big hot bath Japanese style and has lots of culture sessions you can take at the hotel and tons of restaurants in the building! One station away from Kyoto station and convenient stores 7/11 is right next to it. The service is very attentive and not one of those trendy hotel but hardly do any service but only say “no”.

The Hotel Emion Kyoto was one the best hotels I have stayed at in a good while. From the friendly staff, public bath, and the ease to get to the train station was amazing. When I come to Kyoto, I may stay here again because of the convenience.

This hotel in North America would be classified as a 5 stars hotel. Amazing place, beautiful lobby, great spa/ public bath. The staff are great and there is always someone at the front desk that speaks English. In the 2 floor there are restaurants and besides the hotel there is a seven eleven. The room was spacious and we were a family of 4. We really enjoyed our stay!

The staff was friendly, and the hotel's location was right next to a train station, so commuting around Kyoto was easy. The hotel also offered bike rentals, which two members of our group used multiple days.

This property was clean and had plenty of dining and shopping right in the building. There were plenty of amenities right in the room, a convenient store on the first floor, a taxi stand out front and it is across a walkway from the subway stop. Extremely convenient. We would stay again.

Spacious rooms!
Very very impressed with the room, had lots of space to spread out and felt at home. The only downside was the baths, was not aware it was a naked onsen and separated men and women and thought when booked the hotel they were regular jacuzzzis

Hotel Emion in Kyoto offered us a great all round experience for a decent price, the public baths are a good alternative to the onsets give the price, food and accommodation were decent. Location was really good- close to most things (20-25 ) min train ride.

I highly recommend this hotel in central Kyoto where I stayed in for 13 nights. All the staff are friendly. I recommend the breakfast where you find so much variety. The room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels and sleep wear provided. The roof terrace felt very peaceful and relaxing to sit in the evening after a day of sightseeing. There are vending machines in the hotel and seven eleven next door. The station and bus stop are only a minutes a walk away. If I ever visited Kyoto again I would definitely return to this hotel.

Our stay was wonderful. From the cleanliness, to the decorations, to the friendly/helpful staff, the hotel did their best to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. We especially enjoyed the bathhouses, which we made sure to visit every night to rest after a long day of exploring Kyoto. The hotel advertises many places/activities you can explore in the area, such as the nearby gardens or fish market. Our family visited the fish market even though it wasn't on our original itinerary, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is a ~5 minute walk to the train station. Overall, we would love to return to this hotel if we ever return to Kyoto.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Emion. The hotel is very new and the facilities are awesome such as viewing the washer and the Onsen availability on our room TV! The location was excellent via JR train. It's just a few minutes walk. A 7-11 is very near by too. I do have to say there were 2 days our room wasn't cleaned very well. The hotel tote bags were scattered across the room on the sofa and the floor. A tray of finished sushi was left by the room entrance but they did not throw it out. Overall we were very happy staying at Hotel Emion. I have recommended it to my friends.

This was a nice property. Nice restaurants below the hotel. Not the greatest location in terms of the major tourist hotspots (which might be a good thing for some!) but it is adjacent to the train line that goes to the bamboo forest out west and one train stop away from the main Kyoto train station.
