The hotel is just across Kyoto Station which is convenient to travel from Kansai airport to Kyoto and other places. Room size typically small but pretty normal for the rate. Daily housekeeping done. Thanks

If you are planning to stay here for 1 night its fine as its just next to the train station. The overall room and bathroom is on the smaller side. I've stayed in bigger rooms in Kyoto for less. If you want convenience then this is a good place.

Stayed for 2 nights. This was our most "budget hotel" on our holiday and it ended up being one of the best. Superb location, kyoto station is very impressive itself but also has shinkansen as well as local trains and subways, so options for exploring are endless. Hotel itself was perfecly nice, the comfiest bed we had on our 2 week trip which was a huge relief. Very nice breakfast, staff were friendly and helpful if we had questions. The room size was more than adequate and amenities available were great. Would happily recommend and stay here again if we return, the convenience is worth it.

Good place to stay close to Kyoto station, very good value with free breakfast. Only down side was that from the room we had on the station side you could hear the beeping of nearby pedestrian traffic lights and people talking etc. coming from the station all night, might need some more sound proofing on those rooms.

The staff (check in, breakfast and housekeeping) were very friendly and professional. The place was clean and is in a great location. The hotel is in need of refurbishment throughout. It looks tired, and has a slightly run-down feel to it.

I believe is the most convenient location for a few day in Kyoto, steps away from the main station, where you can get on a train anywhere in a couple minutes, all necessary amenities for a couple or solo traveler, clean, quiet.

The value for the price is awesome. The hotel was clean, walk across the street from the train station and you're there. Kyoto is quieter than I had pictured, but there are a ton of restaurant and drink options within a few steps of this hotel. The staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of both Western and Japanese options. I would stay here again.

Everything was great, close to station but quiet, some amenities like toothbrushes (paid hot drinks though), many dining options, and great staff. Room small as most rooms in Japan are but very clean. Laundry room did smell weird though… unsure if it was the washers or the room…
