We had a fantastic stay here recently. The staff were wonderful and were able to help us send our luggage to our next hotel. We utilised the in room massage service which was fantastic and good value. The free shuttle bus to and from the hotel from the train station was also a bonus! It would be good if they added a stop to the Nishiki Market to the shuttle service as it is quite a long walk into the main market and shopping district.

The hotel is nice and spacious. However, no convenient stores or shops nearby except when you take the hotel shuttle mini bus to Kyoto Station which runs 2 times per hour. During certain hours, there might not be space on the shuttle bus to and from Kyoto Station. Be prepare to take taxis.

Hotel is walking distance from multiple metro and train stations. Beautiful grounds. Rooms are clean and nice. There is a hotel shuttle, only seats 20, so if you don't arrive early, be ready to find alternative options.

Its a nice facility and staff is nice and professional. Rooms and amenities is top notch. The shuttle service to and from Kyoto station is huge...saving time and money. Wish they have laundromat to do laundry rather than just having laundry service but other than that, this place is highly recommended.

A quiet gem stay with excellent service

A beautiful elegant hotel situated in a quiet area yet close to easy access to transportation. The shuttles svc to Kyoto station is convenient but if you miss it, walking is so easy and safe, anytime of the day to and from hotel to main station. If you have luggage then it's only a few bus stop away once you figure the schedule. The hotel is a short walk to the large Nishi hongwanji Temple, a worthwhile visit that is free. We were able to experience a service in session. The hotel room is large and well appointed for Japanese standard and the king size bed was a bonus. Love the hospitality and definitely will return again.

Mostly very nice

The room, hotel and staff were top notch with one exception: there was often a noticable 'sewer' smell in the bathroom. For this reason we always kept the bathroom door closed. There are only a few restaurants within easy walking distance . The nearest JR train station is about 15 minutes walk away.

This hotel feels fancy! The staff were very attentive, helpful and kind. I liked that the hotel has a free shuttle to the Kyoto station. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The beds were good and comfortable. The traditional Japanese breakfast was filling and tasty. I also liked that they offered luggage transport to KIX airport.

I loved this hotel. It was cute thatbthe staff gave my child her own liytle kids toothbrush and slippers, she loved it so much! All the gree amenities in the room were great as well! I would stay here again.
