Very nice area. Convenient to transportations, shopping and dining areas. The only negative thing I had during the stay is the bathroom where the washing machine is located, it smelled funny in there.

Love this place! We feel like living as locals as it’s on a residential street. The staff in check in office are so helpful. The facilities in the apartment are in great condition, we had an excellent stay! It’s a handy place But if you need to go a bit further away, it’s better to take a bus or metro.

Fantastic location. The communication with the management was almost impossible…we had to borrow people’s phone to call the management. The shuttle still wasn’t clear of where to pick up…with two small kids and no way to connect or communicate without borrowing someone else’s phones we would have been able to stay the first night…pretty rough experience with two small children…looking for taxis in the middle of the night to go meet the manager in different hotel to pay taxes and get in after the entire booking on Expedia was done. Not sure ver mentioned that taxes the first moment needed to be paid in order to use the hotel…we paid the taxes but the whole entire situation at check in will be forever remembered..:all this can be avoided and put into the price with Expedia, and have a lot more understanding and accommodations at the check in. Overall, you are on your own…I’d not been able to get ahold of the management unless I have a Japanese sim and phone number which was pretty ridiculous. They do respond within 24 hours of your emails but they will not come and open the door or check you in unless you go find them where they are which is ridiculous too. Paying for taxi, bringing suitcases around and two small kids in order to check in was a trip…

The room is spacious compared to other Japanese rooms. They have ensuite washer and dryer. Area is quiet and walkable to bus stops. Highly recommended.

Room was spacious for us, 2 adults and 2 kids. AC system kept the room cool during the 90° heat outside. Having a table that fit 4 people was a plus because it makes eating easier and it helped our kids do schoolwork on their laptops. This property has the toilet and shower separate which we liked. Washer and dryer in room with detergent included. Location was not the best just because there were no train or bus stations close by. Nishiki Market was a 15 min walk. Kyoto station is a 10 min walk to the bus station plus another 7 min bus ride.

Great location to discover Kyoto!
Clean and modern room with great amenities (including laundry, dryer, kitchenette) and big enough for a family of four. The apartment is conveniently located, just 10mn walk from the city centre and subway stations. There are a few convenient stores within 5mn walk. Great value for money!

Our hotel was in a quiet neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants. If you want to experience living like locals, this is the place. The room had a washer and drying room which really helped. We were only about 15 minutes from Teramachi which is very touristy. Local living with activity 15 minutes away.

The worst thing about this hotel is the check in process. We had to check in at the different location. We had to uber 2 times. It's very confusing for first timers.

Loved everything about our stay - the building is impeccable - it is walking distance to the best street shopping mall I have ever seen - a bit of a walk to the metro but nothing unbearable. The traditional style mixed with modern necessities was fantastic. First time we wanted to take photos of our room to show people back home. Only issue was not knowing in advance that the reception was at near Kyoto Station. Once we figured that out - we were treated like royalty.

Very nice apartments located in residential area. Quiet but accessible, close to shopping and dining. We had the family room that has enough space for my family of 4. Comfortable stay with everything we needed. Washer in the room which is very convenient. Recommend.

On a un joli balcon, malheureusement c'est interdit d'ouvrir la fenêtre du coup pas de balcon c'est très dômmage. A part ça, on a passé de bon séjour quand même chez Rési Stay.

Hotel is located in a residential neighborhood. Very quite and had a community feel. Tue downside is that you have to walk for 10-15 minutes to the nearest bus stop or train station. Very close to Kyoto Imperial Place and Nishiki Market. (15-18 minutes walk). The property itself is clean and the whole apartment is spotless! No complains.
