The hotel was amazing. The staff were so nice and greeted us every time we walked into the lobby. The rooms were a great size and it was walking distance to many great areas in Kyoto. They were also super helpful with helping us get our luggage delivered directly to our next hotel. Could not recommend this place more for your stay in Kyoto.

Room was smaller than our hotel in Tokyo. However I'd you utilize the space under the bed and around the outskirts of the room it wasn't too bad. Amenities you have to get in the lobby. Free laundry.

It is well located, close to bus stations and breakfast available. We stayed there 3 nights and didn’t request room service but it would’ve been good to have the option of someone emptying our trashcans.
