Great property, super convenient to the subway system and easy access to some touristy sites. Only downside is that it’s close to a fire station so dependent on what’s going on you may hear some sirens now and then.

The Blossom is one of the most beautiful hotels you can find. From the entrance, with its gentle fountain and pool leads through automatic doors into the reception. At check in, we were presented with a welcome drink ticket and our meal vouchers for the stay. The community room has refreshments 24 hours. It’s not far from the hotel hot springs (with you should visit!). Breakfast was outstanding. Our room here was breathtaking from the very beginning. The in room amenities are amazing. Beer, sparkling sake, coffee , tea! Refilled daily. The restaurant is par excellence! This was one of our best experiences in a hotel. We cannot wait to visit again.

We loved the room we booked (Moderate King room). It was clean, huge for a room in Japan - we could lay our luggages out and walk around comfortably, the shower pressure was amazing, and the black out curtains allowed us to have the best sleep on our entire trip (we were in many other parts of Japan). The staff was amazing - check in and out was a breeze. They helped us ship out luggage to our next location without any difficulties also. And it was such a treat to be welcomed with a complimentary drink/treat. The only downside which is why we marked it one star down was because of the onsen (this was initially the main reason we booked this hotel). It was for my boyfriend's birthday so we decided to splurge on this hotel, but to our surprise the mannerisms /knowledge on using the onsen was a bit off putting by other guests. We both experienced many people not showering or just quickly rinsing before entering the onsen and finding debris/hair floating around. We both didn't want to use the onsen after the one time. I think it would be helpful for the hotel to include instructions with illustrations, if language may be a barrier, to guests checking in. We were given something similar to this at another hotel just before coming to the Blossom Kyoto and the cleanliness was night and day in comparison. We would still definitely return for a visit, but it would be more due to the location, staff, and the room itself. Overall, great hotel!

Blossom was a great hotel for a time trip to Kyoto. Staff was friendly, and someone who spoke English was always available. Room and hotel were a beautiful, traditional Japanese-inspired. Both the rooftop bar and onsen gave great views of the city and backing mountains. Walkable to popular spots like Nishiki market and Gion. And near both the subway and light rail stops. Rooms are small, but smartly arranged and clean. Comfortable bedding and complimentary along with in-room and in-hotel robes and sandals.

stay in wonderful Kyoto
we love to stay in this hotel. it was easy to walk around the neighborhood, and it was well located, so we walk almost to everywhere we need to go, and if you need a taxi, the staff was helpful to get ir for you. the only problem was the have only one restaurante and ir was often occupied for other people, so you have to look for another place to eat.
