The staff were all polite and helpful. Hotel and rooms were very clean and they also provided customers with daily essentials. Very well organized and considerate of travelers. I definitely recommend it.

The frond desk staff is really what made this property shine for us. We did have some issues like the tv not having an English option or unable to mirror from our phones. Also, some cosmetic issues in one of the rooms. Loved front desk, washer/drywr, excellent water pressure, air in room worked well and was free of any odors. They held our luggage, got us rides, scanned documents for us. This was the absolute best front desk experience of our trip. Staff did also speak a little English.

Loved this place, easily was the best of the 3 hotels I stayed in on my 1st trip to Japan. Spacious room, in a safe and quiet area of Kyoto with good proximity to convenience stores and public transportation. We booked two ground floor rooms in the annex building. On the last night we came in and the room smelled awful. Dead rodent or musty water damage? Too late to call and ask for a new room. Both rooms had rug stains, but otherwise clean.

Our room smelt so bad and the bathroom was so stinky. The breakfast buffet was bad too so we didn’t end up having the breakfast even though we had paid for it. I would never stay and it’s definitely not a 3star hotel more like a 1.5star
