Newly reburbished 4 bedroom town house in La Vienne.

The property comprises;
On the ground floor;
Large hallway with stairs to first floor.
A large sitting /dining room.
Brand new kitchen with large island and breakfast bar.
Large shower room and adjacent toilet.
Utility area with washing machine, dish washer, tumble drier and fridge freezer.

On the first floor;
Two double bedrooms with king size beds.
Two bedrooms with twin beds.
A newly installed shower room.
The house comfortably sleeps 8 guests and there is a travel cot available if required.

On the 3rd floor;
A games room with table tennis, snooker table and dart board.

Outside in the large south facing garden is a newly installed heated salt water pool with lots of sun beds and shaded seating areas.
On the terrace next to the house is a comfortable seating area with canopy shade and table and chairs sufficient for 8 guests.

The house is set in the edge of the village surrounded by farm land. Is is a very peaceful setting, very little in the way of passing traffic but has lots of lovely walks close by. A bread van visits twice a week in the mornings, see noticeboard for details.

La Chapelle Baton is a small village in Vienne. At the moment there are no amenities but there are plans to open a cafe/bar in the summer of 2023. The nearest town with boulangeries, Coop supermarket, bars and restaurants is Charroux which is a 10 minute drive away. It also has a very historic abbey and a Tourist Information Office.

Savigne is a 15 minute drive and has larger supermarkets, Intermarche and Aldi. It has some commercial facilities as well including garage repairs and other small shops. The nearest vets is in Savigne.

A 5 minute drive further on from Savigne is Civray, a very pretty town with a river running through it. It has lots of bars and restaurants surrounding the square and holds a twice weekly market. On the outskirts of the town are Lidl and SuperU.

The cities of Poitiers and Angouleme are approximately 1hour to the north and south respectively.

The nearest port to La Chapelle Baton is Caen, a distance of 260 miles while Le Harvre is 285 miles.

The nearest airport is Poitiers, a distance of 33 miles. This is served by Stanstead Airpott Airport in the UK. Flights from Gatwick will take you to Limoges airport which is 52 miles away. There may be other flights from more regional airports but these tend to be seasonal.
