Great place to stay with the family!
Great place to stay with the family. Very friendly hosts running the place. Good home cooked French food available on request (breakfast / dinner). Children loved the animals (especially Sushi the cat) and the trampoline and tennis.

The staff and the property are special. The individual home layout and spaciousness of the rooms are unique. The property is gorgeous. The nature around is so beautiful. Marie was such a wonderful host and we enjoyed an amazing breakfast. We would love to return. We were lucky to find it.

Loved our one night stay here. We stayed in the most adorable cottage. There was a king bed and a little nook with two twin beds for my kids. Bathroom was surprisingly large and well done. Inn owners were so friendly and gave us a beautiful breakfast. My kids loved the trampoline, the cats, and chickens. The surroundings were just picture perfect.

Absolutely lovely place!
This was one our most favorite places to stay during the entire vacation. The gardens were gorgeous. The location was perfect. Breakfast was delicious. Definitely would want to stay here again!

Little slice of heaven
Probably one of the most picturesque properties l've seen in a long time. Beautiful mini cottages set beautifully in rural setting. Animal lovers treat too with horses, chickens roaming freely. Had wonderful evening meal & breakfast too.

Lovely hotel, but the staff let us down.
We made a mistake and accidentally booked the hotel thinking they were pet-friendly. When we arrived however, the staff allowed us to stay, which we really grateful about. We thought the room was beautiful, and we found the owners to be lovely and really understanding. However, in the morning we received an incredibly awkward admonition when we arrived at breakfast by a member of staff, which made the entire meal very uncomfortable - especially as the night had passed, we were leaving that morning anyway, and we assumed the matter was settled with the hotel. It was particularly disappointing, as we really liked the owners, and were impressed with the property. We found it had a negative impact on our stay as a whole and we left feeling like we wouldn't want to recommend this place to anyone due to this staff member's lack of professionalism.

Country life bliss
We had a wonderful stay at Domaine de Vertbois. A warm welcome made us feel immediately at home. The accommodation is classic country chic and absolutely spotless. Our Son was off exploring and helping with the horses and chickens and hasn’t stopped talking about his experience since. The evening with the others guests was relaxing and good fun with food and wine made with love.

Excellent séjour
Excellent séjour. Gîte très agréable et calme. Chambre spacieuse et literie confortable. Cuisine accessible juste à côté avec le nécessaire. Petit déjeuner excellent avec des produits locaux. Armelle est très accueillante. Nous n'avons pas testé la table d'hôte en dîner mais vue la qualité du petit-déjeuner, c'est certainement excellent aussi. Séjour réalisé en janvier, nous y retournerons certainement à la belle saison pour pouvoir plus profiter des extérieurs. Le seul bémol est le débit d'eau un peu faible pour pouvoir remplir la baignoire et prendre un bain.
