We made a mistake and accidentally booked the hotel thinking they were pet-friendly. When we arrived however, the staff allowed us to stay, which we really grateful about. We thought the room was beautiful, and we found the owners to be lovely and really understanding. However, in the morning we received an incredibly awkward admonition when we arrived at breakfast by a member of staff, which made the entire meal very uncomfortable - especially as the night had passed, we were leaving that morning anyway, and we assumed the matter was settled with the hotel. It was particularly disappointing, as we really liked the owners, and were impressed with the property. We found it had a negative impact on our stay as a whole and we left feeling like we wouldn't want to recommend this place to anyone due to this staff member's lack of professionalism.
