We are: Three mature adults from USA, visiting in a July heat wave. Casa Sunbreak could not have been more perfect.
Cleanliness?
Immaculate, pristine.
Check in?
The wonderful hostess lives nearby, so arrival was flexible and she was there to greet us.
Kitchen Equipment/Supplies?
The kitchen was completely supplied, all the appliances and tools we needed and condiments and fresh coffee, oranges, and mangos, plus lots of the necessary little stuff such as baggies for leftover fruit. Full stove and huge refrigerator. Gas grill outside. Clothes washer and dryer.
Furnishings and Ambience?
The Casa is darling. We loved the cozy scale of the separate spaces (entry foyer, living room, dining room, kitchen, bedrooms), the comfortable furniture, the abundance of local art. Bright and cool. Good lighting with lots of lamps. New bathrooms.
COMFORT? Well, it was 100+ degrees F (38+ C) in La Paz. Inside, several air conditioners kept the space cool and comfortable. BUT, we used the lovely patio too, where the charming DIPPING POOL made all the difference. It was a delight to sit on the edge and dangle feet, or just go all the way in and cool off! (Floatie noodles and towels abundantly supplied).
What else? Off-street parking. Total visual privacy. Great library of local books (history, culture, flora and fauna). Thoughtful touches at every turn.
In summary, if Casa Sunbreak is totally booked during the high season, you can enjoy it in the heat of summer too!
