Great hotel! Hidden gem.
This was a surprise! I loved this hotel. Beautiful grounds, great bakery/restaurant attached and right across from the waterfront. The hotel was beautiful and clean and the staff were absolutely friendly and helpful.

It's an old property, nevertheless, our room was very spacious, we are very happy with what we got, we will stay there again. Perhaps that room was my VIP and up grade but we were not told. Quite great location, restaurant have GREAT food and prices! A most try, we eat most times there. We recomendable this place for families with children.

Love this place.
The receptionist at arrival is not very helpful or appealing. If I was the owner there would be only one reason she worked at that position was she is my wife or owner, either way she shouldn’t be in that spot.

Second (and last) time staying here, both times disappointed. A small dark cave-like room with no view (window looked out into a common walkway so if you wanted any privacy, you had to keep the curtains closed) and no patio/outdoor seating area. Completely indifferent staff on the reception desk. Pool was murky and green. The icing on the cake: I forgot some very sentimental jewelry in the room, but magically the staff 'never found it.' The best parts of the stay were the cleanliness of the room and the 250-peso drink credit. Otherwise, a dud.

This hotel was BY FAR the best place to stay at! I will definitely be coming back! The staff was amazing! Everything was within walking distance (Malecon, restaurants, downtown, etc.) I wish La Paz had all-inclusive hotels, but this is the closest thing to it!
