You have a great view of the river from this house and a five minute stroll through the little narrow streets to collect bread, have a coffee or eat at the many restaurants. In the village its self you will find a boulangerie , gift shops and a wine shop built into the rock on the streets as you walk through the many paths. The troglodyte fort set high in the rock is full of history. The path way towards the church leads you to the exotic gardens and the tennis courts. On the river front of La Roque Gageac you can hire canoe boats, browse the shops or do what the French do best and have a leisurely lunch and watch the world go by.
