Spacious Rustic Log Cabin-La Veta Pass-Easy Access & Wifi! Pet & Horse Friendly!

There is easy access to this spacious log cabin nestled upon Mt. Mestas on La Veta Pass. Surrounded by spruce and pine trees, this home is centrally located for travel to many fun getaway destinations in southern Colorado.

The living room has a cozy fireplace and easily seats 5+ among the 65” smart tv. The dining room seats 8 at the Mexican pine table and the kitchen is fully equipped. There is an additional desk area and table tennis in the sunroom. The main level bedroom has a king size pine log bed. There is a large walk-in closet dressing area and a bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Upstairs is a second bedroom with a queen size bed. If a nursery is needed, there is a portable crib and high chair for your infant or toddler. The loft area is well equipped with puzzles, games & books for all ages to enjoy. The third bedroom has a queen size bed, along with two twin beds in the sunroom. The full bathroom upstairs includes a bathtub shower combo. A front load washer & dryer are available for use.

The property is conveniently locate on US Highway 160 with no neighbors. The two covered porches run the length of the house with optional outdoor seating & a log porch swing.

The area is known for its unlimited outdoor activities. Old La Veta Pass is just across the Highway beginning at County Road 443. A morning or afternoon road trip to “Up Top” is sure to please.
