We went down there and rented the suite for the night, which was great. We decided to stay another night due to the impending hurricane in our area and the same room we rented for 188 went to 325. I asked why would the room be so much more expensive during hurricane preparedness and they said supply and demand. I say inflation.

The hotel was clean, staff was friendly. The restaurant options were limited, and the food was not that great. Tomatoes in gumbo---Not what we are accustomed to in this area. During the "buffet" breakfast, the hot food was kept covered and was guarded by the cook, who was on a cell phone while standing at the serving area, talking on what seemed to be a personal call instead of trying to serve customers. We had to wait on him to serve our food, and he seemed irritated that we wanted any sort of service (as opposed to letting him complete his phone conversation).

The staff didnt give me my breakfast ticket when i checked in. Some.of the large soap, shampoo etc containers were empty. Not what I was expecting at over 200 a night. Also the large soap dispensers, how can hygiene be maintained? It cant

We decided to stay here to attend the Jelly Roll concert. The staff were very friendly and professional. We went to eat at Chimes prior to the concert and the manager gave us a parking pass so that we would be able to park at the hotel again. We were able to walk over to the Cajun Dome for the concert. Very convenient.
