New Iberia Super 8
we arrived around 8ish pm after long drive, husband needed to use restroom. Girl who came out couldn't get him key to restroom and then during check in she had to go see someone upstairs to get answers about our checking in. All this time my husband is dancing around needing to pee. Gather she was home from school and her parents and sister ran the hotel. Which never saw anyone but her. Nice lobby but rooms need new bedding and nearest ice machine didn't work so had to go to Lobby for ice. And breakfast....worst breakfast I have every had! Thawed out frozen waffles, 1 cereal and small muffins that were terrible. No juices. I've had better grab and go breakfasts than this. It was OK for a quick over night stay (passing through) and was close to the Tabaco Museum, which is where we went next day. We got what we paid for since it was a lower priced hotel.

I loved this stay, and is by far my preferred hotel in the area. I go every couple of months to see my family in Lafayette, and this will now be my go to hotel for all of my visits.

Place was filthy. Towels were dingy and had stains. Mold in corners. Light fixture in bathroom was gone. No air vent just a whole in the ceiling full of dirt. Comforter had burn holes. Refrigerator was frozen. Couldn't put nth in the top. Microwave was dirty. Had a spill. Called for towels was told they didn't have access for towels til morning. Was just brought a mop which had to use myself to clean. Worker just left and said call when I finish. Phone in room didn't work at all. Just wasn't satisfied. Remote had tape on the back. 219 door was opened all night. No security. Had a man sleep outside in the middle of the walk way. Won't be booking with them again. 0 stars
