Casa da Agua is a modern 3 double bedroom luxury villa with 2 en suites and 1 family shower room, particularly suitable for families.

When not being used for holidaymakers this is our main home and so is furnished & equipped to a high standard with everything you could need for an exceptional holiday.

The villa is on a small well maintained condominium next to a 9 hole golf course. There is a shared swimming pool and children's pool in a beautiful setting with panoramic views of the ocean with artificial grassed sunbathing area and sun loungers for hire.
A tennis club with 4 tennis courts is a 5 minute walk from the villa. The tennis club also houses a gym and various classes such as Pilates and yoga are available there. In the same area is a mini market for day to day provisions, cafe and a cash machine. Larger supermarkets are a 10 minute drive away.

There is also the well renowned Carvoeiro Tennis Club which also has a fully equipped gym with trainers and many keep fit activities such as yoga, Zumba etc. If you sign up to any activities you are able to use the club's swimming pools.

There are several restaurants and cafes within walking distance, as is the nearest beach of Centianes. The beach is a 20 minute walk and has a good bar/cafe/restaurant. The main town of Carvoeiro is a 5 minute drive or 30 - 40 minute walk where can be found many more restaurants & bars plus independent boutiques, beauty salons, nail bars & even a fish spa. There are several mini markets, a daily fresh produce market selling the freshest fish, meat, fruit & vegetables. Several bakeries, a post office & pharmacy can also be found.

Carvoeiro is a very popular and sought after destination in the Algarve. It has not been spoilt by high rise development and still retains the charm of a small fishing village with a pretty beach and many restaurants and bars to choose from as well as small independent shops. There is plenty of night life & lots of activities going on during the summer months.

Our villa has many brochures & leaflets with details of what there is to see & do in the locality.

The kitchen was renovated in 2018 & is well equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, American fridge freezer with water & automatic ice dispenser, oven, combination microwave/grill/oven & new in 2023 a 4 ring induction hob. There is a wide selection of cooking equipment, crockery, cutlery & glasses. A charcoal barbecue is provided & outside dining furniture & loungers on the ground floor terrace & further outside sofa & armchairs on the roof terrace. Also provided is an insulated picnic box & ice packs, beach equipment - buckets & spades, beach mats, beach umbrellas, beach games etc.

As well as the 9 hole golf course nearby, there are several beautiful 18 hole golf courses a short drive away & many more further along the Algarve.

There are many beautiful beaches only a short drive away, but for those who don't want to use a car, everything you need is within walking distance of the villa.

bon moment passé en famille on s'est bien amusé dans un cadre calme et reposant. La villa est très spacieuse avec tout le nécessaire pour passer de bonnes vacances., nous étions 7 personnes 4 adultes et 3 enfants. La Cuisine est très bien équipé avec tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner, les chambres sont spacieuses et climatisées. Les plages sont magnifiques et la piscine à 5minutes à pied. La propriétaire est joignable et le service gérer par un personnel très agréable. Je recommande cette villa

My family and I really liked the house, the privacy and the peace and quiet in the area around the house. About my evaluations I only have the following to say: The advertisement mentions 4 rooms, but only 3 are available...because the other one is closed. As for communication with the accommodation manager, it was almost zero, without even trying to find out if everything was ok, but I consider that Mrs. Sue has no responsibility for this.In fact, I found Mrs Sue to be very friendly and concerned about my well-being, which I appreciate. Beautiful large villa
Lovely property with plenty of space. Handy sun loungers at villa which were very useful for sunbathing as you did have to pay to use any sunloungers around the pool, so only really used the pool for a cooling swim. A few restaurants in the area including on the way back from the beach.

Very nice!
We were there in September and it was very quiet. Condo is spacious and spotlessly clean. Nicely decorated and the kitchen was fully equipped with the latest gadgets. You can walk to the center of town but it is much longer walk uphill on the way home! A few restaurants and a small grocery store are just a few minutes walk away. The only problem we had was when we arrived the key was not in the box. Fortunately we caught the manager just as he was heading home and got the key. Overall a very pleasant experience.

A great villa in a good location.
We have had a great two weeks in this beautiful villa in Carvoeiro. Everything we needed was there and we had a welcome pack, which was a lovely surprise! The villa was exceptionally clean and spacious in a great location for lots of local restaurants and beaches.

Algarve paradise
Had a great week using the house as a base and exploring the Algarve area with it's magnificent beaches. This property was exactly as described in the posting. It was extremely comfortable for 4 adults and could easily host 6. There is plenty of space in the house with several private alcoves outside and the rooftop patio. There were absolutely no issues or surprises so we didn't need to engage Sue or the property manager but Sue did communicate all through the process with some valuable area info. The pool at the Lighthouse restaurant was very nice and only a couple minute walk. We only used it a couple of times as the weather was beautiful so we were at the beaches most every day. Great location.

Excellent stay
Family holiday of 5 with an 18 and two 16 year olds. The villa was exactly as described with plenty and bedroom and bathroom space. For once no arguments on who gets the shower first! When we stayed in to cook, the villa was amazingly well equipped with plenty of utensils and equipment (plus more!) and a fantastic bbq. Having the option of the roof terrace and front terrace stopped staying in feel too 'samey'. Within a 10 min walk there is a good selection of bars and restaurants, an uber into Carvoeiro cost around 10EUR. The local beach (Centeanes) was around a 20 walk or less than 5 min drive with a decent restaurant and amenities. If you're feeling adventurous, the cliff walk to beaches further afield is highly recommended. Can't comment on the golf as we don't play. But our son's joined the local gym at the Rocha Brava resort (5 min walk) and said it had everything they needed. Sue is a fantastic communicator, answering any queries quickly and all instructions received were easy to follow. Overall, the villa is really well situated and if we ever go back to that area of Portugal would have no qualms staying here again. Thanks for a fantastic holiday - highly recommended.

Villa Review
We loved this villa, it is a real home away from home and is so well equipped. It is very comfortable and very spacious. Sue has everything available from a fully equipped kitchen to a homely dining room and various options for outdoor dining, including a roof top terrace and garden area with bbq and dining table. We absolutely hope to be back in the future.

Stayed at Sue’s house for two weeks, 3 kids and both parents, house was spotless, small food hamper on arrival was greatly appreciated, location was excellent, quiet residential area, but only 5 minutes walk from small supermarket and several very nice restaurants. Would definitely recommend this property to rent, we will be back !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The villa exceeded our expectations and was very comfortable. It was spacious, clean and well maintained. I can't think of anything that we felt we needed that it did not have. It had everything that we could have wanted; great swimming pool, amazing views, walk to the beach (10-15mins) and just lovely accommodation with all aspects covered. Would definitely recommend to family and friends and wouldn’t hesitate in returning.

Impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, super well equipped property (has beach and house toys for kids, equipment for beach, very efficient kitchen), in a quiet area near Benagil beach. A Wonderful Retreat
This amazing villa provided the perfect base for our Autumn getaway. As a party of five it provided us with the space we needed to truly relax and the location was perfect for night- time drives into Alvor or Caraviero.I would recommend a hire car as you may feel a little isolated without one. The standard of hygiene was exemplary. There is midweek maid service provided which was very welcome indeed. Cooking in the well equipped kitchen was effortless and the outdoor BBQ provided us with a great night’s family entertainment. I would thoroughly recommend this villa to a larger -sized family. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful well equipped villa
We have just arrived back from a two week stay in this lovely villa. It was very spacious and easily accommodated our party of 7. There is a well equipped kitchen and WiFi throughout the villa. Contact with the owners was always prompt and informative. The pool is a 5 min walk from the villa with plenty of sun beds or a grassed area on which to sun bathe. The nearby beaches are stunning - our kids enjoyed jumping the high waves. The walk into Carvoeiro is about 30 mins mostly downbank and the taxis are plentiful for the ride home at about €6. If we were to holiday in Carvoeiro again we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here 😁

Home from home
We have just returned from a fabulous two weeks stay at this beautiful villa. Set in a quiet location and with access to the complex pool, bar & restaurant, it is also within walking distance of various other restaurants, shops, beach’s and places of interest. The villa is set out over two floors with good size bedrooms and bathrooms to give everybody space. Coupled with various outside areas and a roof terrace, there is a place for everyone - sun, shade or chilling inside. The villa itself is the best we have ever had in terms of just how well equipped it was - it lacked for absolutely nothing & the brand new kitchen really adds to the clean, modern feel of the villa. Communication with the owner has been brilliant from the outset and we all feel that this property was an excellent choice. Would highly recommend to families of all age groups (we were from ages 12 to 63!)
