Casa da Marmaduke Scarlett is a beautiful, traditional townhouse with pool and sports facilities, in the heart of Luz village that has been very tastefully renovated and has stunning ocean views and a real beach charm.

Nestled in a quiet residential area with cul de sacs front and back with ample parking outside the front door, it is only a 3 minute walk from the glorious blue flag Luz beach and promenade, with its great restaurants, shops, breath taking beach and cliff walks and wide variety of water sports and family activities. There are 4 excellent golf courses within a 15 minute drive plus a 5 court padel facility and ocean front yoga and personal training classes within a 5 minute walk.

There are 3 private terraces that provide great spaces to relax, with the main terrace outside the living space offering incredible views of the ocean, the beach and the majestic Rocha Negra. It is an amazing place to soak up the sun during the day, enjoy a leisurely Portuguese lunch or chill out for a relaxing alfresco evening under a starry Luz sky.

There is also a ground floor terrace with sun beds or to soak up some rays on the sunbeds, or to have a late afternoon shady break under the beautiful Burgengola.

On the top floor there is a very spacious, bright and airy open plan living and dining room space, comfy sofas and a stylish French style dining table that comfortably sits 6 people. From this there are sliding glass doors to the main terrace with a large dining terrace and a remotely controlled sun shade.

The living space has an HD television with access to a wide range of UK terrestial and satellite services and there is complimentary superfast 5G broadband connectivity throughout the house.

There is a large fully equipped kitchen that is open plan to the main living space and has access to a useful pantry /laundry room and a small terrace ideal for a gin and tonic at sun down.

Down stairs there is a master bedroom with a king sized bed, a stunning ensuite and a door to the middle terrace, an ideal spot for morning coffee. The second bedroom has a king sized bed and a door to the middle terrace and a third bedroom with twin beds. There are two further bathrooms both with showers and one with a bath. All three bedrooms have good wardrobe and drawer space and there is a fan, hair drier plus beach and Bath towels provided in each room.

There is a secure back gate, a triple deadlock front door and a secure key safe at the front entrance. High chair, cot and stair gate are available on advance request. The property is managed by a Luz based manager who meets and greets guests and is on call during your stay.

Included in the rental is free access for 6 people to the fantastic Luz Bay Club with its 3 top class swimming pools including a large infant pool, 3 excellent tennis courts and a tennis teaching academy (tennis needs an additional fee paid). The Luz Bay Club is a 6 minute flat walk away.

It is possible to buy daily and weekly passes for use of the Boa Vista Golf Resort (under 10 minute drive) which gives you access to use of jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath and gym

Beautiful easy walk to beach
Owner is very kind and easy to talk to. Very comfortable 2 story with 3 decks and a patio. Would be great for 4 adults and 2 kids. The picture of the patio posted by the owner is your every morning. Quiet neighborhood, great restaurants in walking distance. Easy in out, but short on parking. One room is 2 twins “kids’ room” 2 bathrooms in the hallway and one room with an ensuite, every door has a lock. Wonderful rain head showers and a bath tub for those who need that, all recently remodeled. Biggest downfall was the stairs, it’s a beautiful circular stair inside and lovely curved steps between the patio and balcony and a flight down to the front door so pack in and out is a lot of flights, but we would still rent again if brought back to Luz. Great vacation spot for a long stay.

Five days in Algarve
This home was clean, cute and very close to the beach and the umbrella rental area. Also close to town and a handful of shops and restaurants. Only 15 minute Uber to Lagos. I misunderstood that there was a code to access the property and I thought I had to meet a property manager to get in probably confusion on my part. Very nice place. Curly stairs separating bedrooms from kitchen area could be difficult for some. We had a great time and would recommend this rental!

Sehr schönes Haus in toller Lage von Luz
Das Ferienhaus liegt im Ortskern von Luz. Es ist geschmackvoll und sehr persönlich eingerichtet. Wir haben zu dritt einen tollen Urlaub hier verbracht und fanden es noch schöner als es auf den Bildern deutlich wird. Es gibt ausreichend Platz für sechs Personen. Die Bäder sind wie neu, die Schlafzimmer gemütlich und ausreichend groß und der Wohnbereich ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Küche hat alles was man benötigt, um sich selbst zu versorgen. Man merkt, dass das Haus Annie und ihrer Familie sehr am Herzen liegt. Absolutes Highlight war für uns die tolle Terrasse mit einem fantastischen Blick auf das Meer. Die Betreuung vor Ort war sehr gut, es gab keine Probleme mit der Übergabe und der Kommunikation und wir wurden sogar mit zwei Flaschen Wein und kaltem Wasser "empfangen". Liebe Annie und Familie, vielen Dank, dass wir in eurem Haus wohnen und einen tollen Urlaub verbringen durften. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

El alojamiento está en perfectas condiciones, tal y como reflejan las fotos. Muy céntrico y cerca de la playa. La piscina está en otro complejo, a unos 5-10 minutos andando. Estaba todo muy limpio y muy bien conservado.
