Internet never worked throughout my entire stay. Food not great but Amenities good.
The hotel is beautiful but missing the amenities of a large property with a limited staff. It's great if you're looking for a quiet place to retreat in the midst of the noisy city.
What a wonderful, upscale, intimate hotel. There’s nothing bad that can said about this hotel. All staff were welcoming, efficient and friendly. I will be staying again whenever in Lagos. In my opinion it’s better than your busy Lagos intercontinental that I stayed in for a few days before White Orchards
The hotel’s facilities were very good. One of if not the best I’ve stayed in in Nigeria. I came to rest and I got it. The bed is very comfortable with memory pillows. The room makes you forget you are in Lagos once the door is shut.
My main grief is with the staff and the quality of service. They were friendly and helpful but lack the level of skill or training required for the type of hotel I believe they wish to be.
They seemed overwhelmed or understaffed. Requests are forgotten.
Mine and my mother’s breakfast got mixed up twice. They needed to be reminded to fully restock the bathroom after cleaning.
Once they came in the morning to clean and meet a DND sign, that seems to be it even after the sign is removed and you ask the receptionist to inform housekeeping. Information is not quickly available.
It’s a small hotel, 20 rooms and done to high standards. The service should reflect that.
the bad: took almost half an hour to check in. I was the only one by the way. They had no record of my Expedia booking. Secondly the kitchen/bar staff couldn’t make a cappuccino so walked to another hotel to have one.
The good: manager and staff had the best customer service. Made me feel at home. Bed was one of the best I’ve ever slept in. Room was super comfortable and loved the record player and the amenities
