Loved this place. It's the last house of the development, which means essentially you have complete privacy (except for the cute iguana who was a daily visitor). It's beautiful. Great beaches were five minutes away, and the snorkeling was excellent. We spent our five days there blissfully relaxing.
Practical stuff: All communication was prompt, clear, and smooth. Hynrich, the property manager, was cheerful and helpful. Do stock up on groceries at one of the supermarkets on your way to Sol Patch, local mini market options are limited. We found the local restaurants range from decent to quite good, we ere never disappointed. Friday nights at Shelter Rock for coconut-cooked food and karaoke (Dutch and English!) should not to be missed (requires reservations).
Overall I can't emphasize enough how much we loved Sol Patch and Curacao. We luxuriated in the solitude and warm sun, snorkeled daily, fed the iguana watermelon, and ate well ourselves at local restaurants every night. Pretty close to heaven.
