Like others have said, this is a subpar property in an expensive area, so if you are staying here, it's because it is cheap and you are getting what you paid for. I have stayed here twice now because I visit family and really am only at the hotel to sleep. But after this trip, I think I will be willing to pay more for a better experience. We had paid extra to reserve a king room, but got a double bed (which they advertise is a queen but I measured it and it was 54 inches wide). The mattress was comfortable and linens clean - our towels seemed brand new. The furniture in the room was nice. The fridge and coffee machine (which takes Keurig pods) in the room were great. They now have a coffee station in the lobby which is also nice. The area is great - walking distance to the beach and some cute shops and restaurants. For the bad - the room had a very musty smell and feel. There were small ant-like bugs on the bathroom counter and bedside tables. It seemed like a shoddy remodel job was done on the property, with uneven baseboards and paint splotches. Each room has an individual AC unit which was loud - we were there in November and had the AC on the whole time because of the musty/damp feel in the room. Parking is easy, and it's an extra $20/day that you pay on the app, but it doesn't seem like they monitor to make sure people pay. I wish there was EV charging available because this area does not have many accessible chargers.

Great property for the price. The photos in the listing make the property look much nicer than it actually is. The ground in the pool area is pretty filthy, made our feet black. However, we were pleasantly surprised to discover there’s a hot tub on the property as the listing didn’t show or post it as an amenity. The room was nice but could use some maintenance. The dresser drawers would frequently break off the tracks, the sink faucet was loose, there were dents and scrapes on the walls, the shower head in the bathroom had a rust buildup that we were surprised wasn’t cleaned prior to our check in, the TV had an image burnt into the screen, and the patio had no chairs and was also very dirty. The beds were clean and comfortable, the staff was excellent and incredibly helpful. The crib for our toddler was clean and already in our room at check in. The surrounding area was great. There’s beach access directly across the street which was very convenient. If we’re looking for a budget option, we’d definitely stay again but if other hotels had similar rates, we’d probably stay elsewhere.

Stayed at this hotel and had a great experience! The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. The location was fantastic—just a short walk to the beach, so it was easy to enjoy the ocean whenever we wanted. I also appreciated the on-site parking, which made it convenient to come and go without worrying about finding a spot. Overall, a solid choice for a beach getaway!

They need instructions on how to work the air conditioning because it was hard to understand without reading the screen that was facing the ceiling near the top of the wall. It was also like the motel 7 of Laguna Beach. Great area bit just ok property. I would have liked another amenity to put it over the top to make it better than a motel 7 type property. It was the best of the bare bones but still bare bones. The could offer now for everyone else that's within the area

Really cute and clean place! 2 min walk to the beach across the street. Staff is super responsive on the app and very helpful. However, not sure if the building is older but you can literally hear everything. The street, doors closing, people walking. The hotel even provides earplugs next to the bed and a white noise machine lol. But for the price, not bad. The area it’s in and location makes it worth it. I’m not a super light sleeper. However, be careful leaving anything. I am still in the process of them finding my tripod that I definitely left assembled next to my bed (for content creation!!!).
