Unit #207 is an absolutely stunning vacation rental, adorned with luxurious features that will make any guest's stay unforgettable. As soon as you step foot into the unit, you are greeted by exquisite travertine tile, which is not only visually appealing but also provides a cool, comfortable surface to walk on. The granite countertops in the kitchen sparkle under the warm Maui sun and provide ample space for meal preparation. The location was perfect close to everything, yet not ever feel crowed. Room is a little noisy as you are close to the road, but air conditioner drowned out the noise in the evening. We would definitely go back.

Nice but loud condo
We enjoyed the space in this condo and the small community feel. We traveled with our 2 year old and the bedroom situation worked out well to set up a pack n’ play and still have plenty of space. Has a beautiful view where we could watch whales off of our Lanai. On the downside, this condo is RIGHT on the road. A very busy, loud road. I did read the reviews before, but figured with the a/c running + sound machine it wouldn’t be too much of an issue for us. I was wrong. It really is as if you are in a tent on the side of the road since the windows are just screens with slats- no sound proofing AT ALL. Once we were asleep it was OK, but getting to sleep and in the morning was the worst. Garbage trucks, scooters, cars bumping music, honking. We typically sleep with a fan, so the a/c noise didn’t bother us too much… but it is very loud. So if you are a light sleeper, or have children that wake easily, this is not the condo for you. Heavy sleepers should have no problem. We unfortunately also had some very loud neighbors above us that seemed to have their living space right above our bedroom. While this can happen anywhere, just beware there is very little sound barrier between floors in this unit. The bathroom is a bit outdated as well and a little funky, kitchen has no Tupperware or supplies to preserve leftover food, but otherwise the condo was very clean and spacious.

Beautiful condo
This condo is significantly bigger than others at Kuleana Resort. It was perfect for my husband and I, and our toddler son. We had lots of room to set up a pack-n-play in the bedroom. The living room and kitchen are spacious. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the ocean. We could see humpback whales, dolphins and turtles from our balcony. Beautiful place for a relaxing vacation.

Felt short of sold expectations
First of all, let me start by sharing that the location and view were spectacular. Location gave us options to the north or south of us for beaches, food and exploring. The view from the lanai was spectacular and the perfect place for sunset. However, I should have done my homework and read the reviews of others, as the condo fell short to what I felt were "selling points". The living room pictures on the VRBO site are not current. When we walked in, I though I was in the wrong unit as the walls are not bright and the furniture shown is different. Not a bad thing, just out dated listing. The kitchen has been updated however, the stove has no temperature markings on any of the dials. The overhead stove fan has only one working setting (loud) and the light does not work. There are no kitchen dish towels. Their is no way the bed is a queen as listed. It is most definitely a full at most. And the mattress has a lot to be desired, as you roll into the center. The bedroom faces the road and if I didn't know better, I would tell you that we were in a tent on the sidewalk. The road noise is incredibly loud throughout the night and early morning hours. Saving grace would be if you want to run the window AC unit for white noise as it is not quiet. This community has many other sites available. I would recommend reading the reviews prior to booking.

What an awesome condo!
My wife and I stayed here for a week and we had a great experience overall! Great condo, property, and location! We had family in two other units nearby and they were jealous that we had this one, as it was definitely a little nicer and bigger.

Place had a great view and the location was just right! My complaints are about the condo itself. 1. Broken cabinet doors in kitchen and in bedroom. 2. Very dirty floors throughout, as well as dirty bath room and balcony. 3. No window coverings on living room glass door. 4. No beach towel and swim wear drying rack or string provided. And management does not allow the use of balcony railing for drying. I would love to stay at Kuleana Resorts again, but as it was, unit 207 was disappointing.

The property itself was lovely, as was the location. For the most part we enjoyed our stay. Having said this, I have the three following exceptions that are worth mentioning: 1. The bed is advertised as a queen-sized bed. I'm not convinced that it was actually queen-sized. The point is moot however, due to how much the bed dips. It behaves more like a full and is not a good sleeping experience for two people. For one person it might be fine. If you think the couch will be better, you will be disappointed as this also dips. 2. The property manager never responded to any messages beyond the initial booking request. I sent two messages. As of this writing it has been over 9 days since the first, and two since I sent a followup message. Not a peep in reply. 3. This particular unit is close to the street. The windows in the unit do not filter out much street noise, and the bedroom is located towards the street-side of the unit. Other than the points above, I'd recommend this rental and rental property.

Great location!
Loved the location and the ocean access - Much closer view than the picture shows. The grounds were beautifully kept and added a lot to the experience. The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen were very nice, but the living room chair and sofa were kind of grimy. They could definitely use a deep cleaning or a replacement. After a day out sightseeing or beaching it, it would be nice to come home to a comfy, clean living room to relax. The TVs are dated and a Roku or other streaming device would be a great update.
