This property looked great online, and in reality is really was. It impresses upon driving up the entrance. They keep the doors wide open which gives the large lobby an airy and relaxed atmosphere. Nice lobby. Check-in was pleasant. Our rooms was nice. We walked from the hotel to the road in front of the property which runs along the beach and enjoyed sunset at the beach minutes of walking from the property. We had a drink at the bar by the pool during the evening. It was a pleasant, enjoyable way and place to end our day. Though the staff from the bar were fun and pleasant, it seems they don't have actual bartending training. The guy who waited us didn't know how to make a couple of common drinks we asked for, and neither did the other guy at the bar that he consulted. So we played safe by ordering from the drink list. The drinks weren't mixed correct, though they certainly seemed strong enough. However, that did not dampen our overall happy experience at this hotel and the drinks even gave us something to laugh about.

Employees were amazing especially the valet. View was amazing and the rooms were so nice! Property was clean and very well kept. We had breakfast there but wouldnt recommend it. $30 per person ($60 total) all you can eat buffet of eggs sausages and bacon along with some cereal or pastries. I saw a lady get a plastic to go box and put a pastry in. I asked the miss at the register for a box and she said they arent able to do that even though someone just did. Aside from that its a great hotel to stay at. Also 8 mins away from whalers village which is a nice little mall to walk to.

This is a beautiful resort, located right on the waterfront, and close to shopping. The staff were all very friendly and it was really nice to have several options for free Hawaiian culture-type classes. The property is beautiful and well maintained. My only suggestion for improvement would be for food options. The Maui Brewing Company is located on site, but they didn't have much on the menu for local cuisine, just mostly your typical pub food. It would have been nice to have some local dishes available.

Excellent location on Kaanapali Beach. Hotel grounds are peaceful and relaxing with plenty of lawn chairs. Hotel staff are all great, true Aloha spirit comes across. Maui brewing and restaurant on premises is nice and food is excellent in addition to the beer.

After 14 hours of traveling and standing in line for quite some time to check-in, we received room keys and towel keys. We immediately misplaced the towel keys with all the luggage and exhaustion and asked for additional. It was a BIG deal to get extra keys. The manager had to be called and I felt like we were being interrogated. House-keeping did not make beds every day but did replace towels. Upon checking out you had to bring back down the towels and all hotel keys which you still need to the key to exit the parking. One of our towels blew off the balcony when placed overnight to dry and we were charged $50! I was told to read the fine print on the back of the keys. I think for this charge it should be verbalized at check in that you must return all towels or you will be charged $50 per towel. We only used the pool once. That was an expensive 20 min!

Fabulous beach and location. If you are looking for a pool with all the bells and whistles for kids, this is not the place. If you want peace and quiet and desire to lounge on a beautiful green lawn under shade trees on a gorgeous beach and are looking for an unpolished laid back Hawaiian feel, this is it!

Resort was very nice, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Was a little disappointed with the Hele On...slow service at the window one and the buffet was a little overpriced for the selection. But we really enjoyed the location and the beach was beautiful!

Had a wonderful stay. The views from the property are amazing. Easily walk to Whalers village for some shopping or just walk onto the beach and snorkel at black rock. The traditional activities of lei making and such are a nice added bonus. The pool is on the smaller side but I’m not there to use the pool.
