We booked this property for our honeymoon and hoped it would be as luxurious and beautiful as seen on the photos but was sadly disappointed with the property. I felt the grand entrance was the best and most beautiful part of this hotel. The ridiculous prices definitely do not reflect what you receive. The 18 adult “only” areas were filled with toddlers and screaming children, splashing in the pool… we were there to experience paradise and some relaxation but was definitely disappointed. The 18 hot tub was not only filled with children but at night when we tried to go back for some relaxation, the light was broken and was strobing…. No one wants to be in a rave hot tub on your honeymoon and especially after spending thousands of dollars. The room was very average nothing to jump up and down about… The food options are very limited, we recommend going to Sensai the sushi restaurant. Great quality sushi and reasonable prices. Our trip went well but we definitely will not be staying here again in the future. There are way better and nicer properties that are actually beach front (another disappointment, this property is not beach front) and are waaaayyyyy cheaper! Spend your money else where!

We had the very best stay with the Ritz! Wow! Absolutely amazing in Maui! I loved everything about it! Pools and staff top notch! The beach, awesome! Service to get back and forth from the beach, impeccable! Could not say enough amazing things! Shopping was superb! Thank you for making my 50th the best trip ever! ❤️

It was a terrible experience where a lot of undisclosed fees and taxes. The hotel is far away from the main attractions. The ocean view room is actually a partial ocean view. The breakfast is $60 a person. And they did not give me the same amount of hotel credit as when I booked. Also the cherry on top, there is ONLY valet parking that they charge you $65 plus tax a night! I complained about the ocean view so they gave me a bigger room and sent a $10 champaign bottle as an apology. I went there on my honeymoon exept for the part that Maui is a heaven on earth my honeymoon would have suffered a great hit. We made it up by enjoying the island and interacting with Hawaiian natives. I am sending an email to both expedia and the Ritz carlton on my experience as I am very unhappy with their part of the experience. Sorry for the negetivity but if you want to pay to stay at a five star hotel I doubt this is the best place to do so.

Beautiful property in Maui!! The hour drive in from the airport at night is a bit daunting! With the darkness, rain and poor road visibility you must be careful. With that said it made it difficult to navigate finding the property. Once there it is well worth it!! The kindness of the staff is constant and they made our stay enjoyable. Their staff surprised hubby & I with a beautifully decorated 30th Wendy Anniversary display in our room!! Please note this side of the island does tend to have more rainy/windy/cloudy days that hubby hated at this resort. I on the other hand enjoyed every minute!!! Everything from the nightly live music, their strong mai tai’s, walk to Harvest church on Sunday to their private beach is top notch and gorgeous!! I highly recommend!!

The glory of the Ritz-Carlton was missing. The staff were friendly enough but not overly so. We upgraded to a suite. The best thing about that suite was the Kitchenette. We hardly used it. The lampshades were all crooked, the furniture was dated, and some areas showed wear and tear. The pool area service was very poor, you can hardly find anyone to cater to us. Towels were thrown all over the pool area with no one to pick up. The Concierge for the pool was more interested in selling Maui Jim than in seeing what the patrons needed. And by the way, we purchased the two pairs from him. The executive lounge is well furnished; however, they were understaffed, and the food variety was poor, and again, hardly anyone would come around to check on us. I might add that on the last day of our staff, we noticed a change in the staff's behavior; it seemed like they had a visit from corporate. Certainly did not feel like a Ritz Carlton.
