The home was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need – it’s clear that every little detail has been thoughtfully considered. From kitchen supplies to cozy furnishings, it felt like a true home away from home.The location is fantastic – just a short drive to many of the main attractions in the area. "La Mansion is a beautiful property. Very unique with individual villas. We stayed in #10, which has three bedrooms, a kitchen, and it's own heated pool. The views of Lake Arenal are truly amazing. The staff was the best! Very nice, polite, fun and helpful. The restaurant is great too. We stayed here due to its proximity to La Fortuna. It's close enough to drive back and forth but far enough away to get out of the hustle and bustle of the town. I highly recommend you consider La Mansion. "

"We only had one night at the Agua Inn, but would stay again. The grounds were beautiful, staff was very friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The sound of the river nearby was soothing. "

"The view is absolutely amazing and we loved the little secluded bungalow. The owners are so friendly and informative. The breakfast is amazing, it’s a 4 course meal and different each day. You start with a parfait, then a specialty pancake, the main course is eggs and a specialty side (empanadas, etc.) and then juice, definitely fills you up for an adventurous hike. I would definitely recommend this place. Almost forgot you have a special wake up call from the howler monkeys around 5:15 a.m."

"We had a quick two night stay with my elderly parents to enjoy the views & wildlife. This house situated above the trees with a view of Arenal lake was perfect as the birds flew by at eye level constantly. We never even turned on the TV, house was cool enough without AC due to breeze. Water pressure in the shower could be better but other than that, we had everything we needed. "
