Book a hotel near Lake Esmeralda, Downtown Santiago

"Lovely old hotel in the Lastarria district. I liked the Bahamian vibe in the area. I didn’t spend much time in the hotel, but enjoyed two dinners at the rooftop bar, which was a great spot. Good breakfast on the day that I had time to have breakfast before going on tours. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Kudos to David. "

"The staff checking us in were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious. Free bottle of wine was a nice touch. We were just below the restaurant so it was a bit loud at night, but we loved our view/balcony so it was worth it!"

"I enjoyed the atmosphere of Chilli’s heritage created by the decor . The restaurant produces great meals and the pool is lovely on a hot day . Easy to walk to major attractions and staff are always willing to help in any way. Hot showers were welcome also ! "

"My wife and I chose to stay overnight in Santiago as we headed to Patagonia. We are so, so, so happy that we chose to stay at Hotel Plaza San Francisco. The staff treated us like we were 5 Star guests. They allowed us to check in early for a small fee. They also were able/willing to do a small cash exchange at the check in. The staff was great. They need all the praise they can get for being so hospitable. The room was great. The bed was comfortable and the restroom was super clean. Loved the shower. The morning breakfast was excellent with many options. The location, for us who love to urban walk, was excellent. We were able to easily walk around town and feel safe while doing it. The taxi dropped us off and picked us up at the front door. The whole experience was excellent and I would highly recommend this stay for anyone staying in Santiago. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever in Santiago in the future. Awesome experience. "
