Didn’t hate our stay, but didn’t love it. The room and bathroom was very clean, but there was visible mold on the ceiling. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were nice. We were not told at check in that this hotel doesn’t offer room service at all unless you ask, but whatever. We asked for towels and had to go down and get them ourselves which added to my annoyance. I had a second large hold on my credit card after check in. So instead of the full price of the room, plus deposit I had another 211$ on top of my bill. The night clerk was friendly and said it was an issue bec I used a diff credit card than when I booked (which It was not, I only have 1 card) but that she was reversing it but couldn’t tell me when it would fall off. The pool was small but clean and the boat area was nice. We werent crazy about the breakfast and ended up skipping it both mornings and went out. The lobby is cute and clean. I enjoyed that this location wasn’t far from the national park area, but due to the issues we had will not use this property again. I’ve worked in this business, and a lot of these issues should not have happened. Especially tying up additional funds of travelers who are out of town and need access to their money.
