Eagle House is the perfect landing spot for a big group. Centrally located in the town of Lake Leelanau, you are in the heart of everything. Eagle House offers plenty of privacy, seclusion, and space! This home is situated on 6+ acres and surrounded by towering trees and private hiking trails.

Eagle House has 5 bedrooms and 5.5 baths sleeps up to 14, (and is also a wonderful home for smaller groups!) with all but the 5th bedroom having a full bath. The bedrooms consist of 1 king, 3 queens, and a twin over full bunk. There are 3 bedrooms on the main level and 2 bedrooms on the upper level. The 5th bedroom is accessed through the master suite. The master suite offers a private, full bath, king bed, large windows offering views of the woods, and a smart TV.

Step into a spacious kitchen with a dishwasher and plenty of space for meal prep. Serving a big group or need that extra space for drinks? There is an additional fridge just a few steps down on the lower level. The bright and open kitchen is set up well for cooking and entertaining, with lots of counter space and a kitchen island. Enjoy your breakfast or morning coffee at the cozy kitchen table.

In the living room enjoy a bright and open living space with smart TV over the fireplace. Walk-out French doors provide access to the back deck and patio. A large collection of movies is offered to enjoy movie night. Bluetooth sound bar allows you to pair and play music. There is also a selection of board games and cards for game time. Have some quiet time and cozy up in one of the window nooks and take in a book.

The covered front porch offers rocking chairs and a relaxing spot to gather and enjoy the expansive views of the outdoors. The back of the property has a deck with a Weber gas grill to cook up all your favorites. On the back patio, gather for meals and good times under the trees at the large, outdoor dining table. Nearby, enjoy low-smoke bonfires in the Solo Stove fire pit and Adirondack chairs. There is plenty of green space and open area amongst this sprawling property for games and other activities. There is a hot tub off of the back deck.

Eagle House can be found in the heart of Leelanau wine and farm country. Just north of the village of Lake Leelanau, Eagle House is 5 miles to the town of Leland on Lake Michigan and Suttons Bay on West Grand Traverse Bay. Public beach access on Lake Leelanau is about 2 miles away. Boat launches on north and south Lake Leelanau are less than 5 minutes away. Lake Michigan beaches in Leland, Suttons Bay as well as Good Harbor Beach are nearby.

Wine weekend with friends

This was our 4th time staying at this house. We love it. It's clean, each couple has their own bathroom, the kitchen is well equipped, all 10 of us fit at the dining room table. We enjoyed the hot tub.

Mom's wine weekend

Very spacious house! Each bedroom has an attached bathroom, great hot tub and bon fire pit. We toured lots of wineries in Suttons Bay and it was the perfect landing place. We do this every year, but yhis was our first time at this house and we will definitely be back!

We were all very impressed with the property. Loved the private hiking trails, my dog enjoyed the walks in the mornings. Wifi was spotty but, we managed. Kids loved the game room great time for both children and adults.

Toast the Season wine weekend

This was our group's second visit to the Eagle House. There were 4 couples, and it was so perfect to have our own bedrooms with bathrooms! We love the kitchen, dining and living rooms, too, as well as the basement and huge yard. It is a beautiful, clean, comfortable home away from home, and we look forward to returning next year!!

Great family vacation

We had a family wedding at a near by winery (Aurora Cellars) it was great location, close to the venue. The size of the home allowed us to have brunch for other members of our family and still feel comfortable. My only feedback would be to suggest additional seating in the living room, we like to watch movies together. The home was very comfortable, six adults and two kids we had plenty of space.

Girls 60th birthday celebration

We had a group of 14 ladies celebrating a 60th birthday. The house was great! It had a well stocked kitchen, seating for everyone and plenty of bathrooms. It was a good location to go between Traverse City, Leland and all the other little towns in the area.

Perfect house for our group

The house was as lovely as it looked in all the pictures. Our group of 4 couples and 1 adolescent fit perfectly. We especially loved the front porch for just sitting and talking. No bugs at all to bother us. The write up says not to plan for some basics so we were pleasantly surprised by the extensive kitchen spices left be others before us and also plenty of propane gas for the grill. The house was very clean upon our arrival and the location was perfect for all the places on our list of must visits.

Lovely and Large

Lovely location, lovely home, and large enough to easily accommodate four adult couples. (A few more people actually but that’s all we had.) Internet isn’t fast so teenage children may need to do something other than spend all their time online, but that may not be a bad thing.

Perfect Home

We have stayed in many VRBO's over the years. This house was one of the best experiences. I'm pretty fussy about clean when it comes to renting. This house was immaculate! Plenty of room for 4 couples - a nicely appointed Kitchen. The back fire-pit was great - it was all great - We will be back!

Very Large, Very Nice House

The rooms were all pretty large, the bathrooms larger than expected (given the number of them), the game room downstairs was really fun, and the living room/dining room area was large enough to accommodate 10 people. I would recommend reading the directions to the property given in the description, as the location of the address was not quite right on Google and Apple maps.

Beautiful home in excellent location

The property suited our needs almost perfectly. Having 5.5 baths was a real plus with 13 of us. It was quiet and secluded yet close to the Dunes and beaches. The home is just lovely, well decorated, new, great kitchen with everything you would need. Great seating for eating , game playing and the basement was a nice added feature with game tables and another full bath. We really loved our stay.

The place with it all!

The home is perfectly located with so many things to do all within 30 minutes driving time yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of summer tourists. Phenomenal home large enough to give everyone their own privacy and space with wonderful gathering areas like the spacious dining area and outdoor patio. Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the woods around the home and the grassy area. We all had such a wonderful family vacation and would highly recommend this property. You can't go wrong!
