Would not go back
Just needed a place to stay one night extra and thought since it was reasonable we would try it. Supposed to be nonsmoking room, was not. The drains in both the sink and tub/shower didn’t drain well. Everything was dated and didn’t want to really sit on anything.

Could have been better...
Small bathroom, the door hit the toilet opening and closing. There was an uncovered light in the bathroom, dust and wiring were visible. There were crumbs in the dresser drawer and a leftover big gulp and soda can in the fridge. There were loud slamming noises in the middle of the night. However, the pool was nice enough to relax in. The beds were comfortable. We were given more pillows when we asked for them. With a little more attention, this would be a great place.

Floors where dirty went swimming and when got back to room to change had to clean up water with a towel and the white towel came up black would not walk barefoot for sure

The shower head was being held up by a clamp. Cereal & waffle was all there was for breakfast. Mattress was a king on a queen box spring.

For what is offered in Lake Mills, the only option. It was OK. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest. The sheets ect looked dated. If you just need a place to get a little sleep and shower, it works.

Not even as a last choice
There was a puddle outside the door, and the room smelled like cat spray and amonia mixed with some sort of insense. There was no screen on the window, so we could not air out the room. My son got a headache, which left when we left the hotel, from the smells. The bedding had a stain and had holes in it. There were dead bugs on the windowsill. I do not have a lot of wiggle room in my budget, but still stayed at a different hotel. (They did not refund ANY of EITHER room I paid for.) The check in process was also quite slow and antiquated. The picture in the Hotels.com listing is old and not accurate. The hotel is not in great shape, has some very strong smells and poor ventilation, and I would NOT recommend.

If you don't mind unsanitary conditions....
Room was not clean. Tables and seats had dried spills from the previous customer. Sheets were stained. There was no toilet paper. The room did not provide an iron and ironing board. When we called the front desk to inquire about an iron, they did not speak English. Not a pleasant experience.

I’ve never given a poor review before but felt this experience warranted it. At check-in, the desk area was disorganized with room keys and reservation slips (literally) all over the counter, it made me question the security of my information. There were future reservations tacked to the wall for anyone to see. The man behind the counter barely spoke to me. We were in the area for work, had three rooms and checked-in in the evening, and two of the rooms hadn’t been cleaned. The bed had been slept in and the bathroom was dirty. We were given a new room, which was fine, though it smelled slightly of dog waste. After showering, the towels didn’t dry you off. I don’t know if it was all the water softener salt or the type of towel, but it was more like a squeegee than a towel. In the morning, we went to check out the breakfast, there was a family there - the woman called the front desk to ask about breakfast and the man (the same one who checked us in) told her to “just turn it on” (the waffle maker and coffee maker). She tried but couldn’t figure out the self contained coffee maker. Overall, an awful experience (but Lake Mills is nice!)

Really depended on getting breakfast at hotel but after the line of people grew to eat and no food I had to wake up the people to serve us so no breakfast for alot of people

Could not understand any of the employees when they spook because of the strong accent. I don't consider a waffle and juice, breakfast. (Nothing Else) The people running the place should not leave the childrens bike in front of the exits.
