"Online booking was easy. Property exactly as described and shown in pictures. I was a little bit worried about the after hour check in process as our key and contract were not in the safe. The host number never was answered. So we finally located a maintenance man and he got us taken care of. My only 2 complaints are 1- toilet is super low and you have to jiggle the handle and 2- the hot water heater was weak for showers. Those were such minor things and we loved our stay here so much that I tried to extend our stay another night, however it was already booked. I love to cook and this kitchen has modern new appliances and every gadget needed to make a feast while watching tv or chatting with family and friends while cooking it up. The amenities are awesome! The location is beyond beautiful and my husband and I enjoyed reconnecting around nature..We highly recommend this place. "

"We rented this house as well as the big one next door to do a family reunion with 23 people. We wanted everyone to have their own room. Was just a short walk from next door. Had 5 great bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Everything was clean. Lots of kitchen things to use. Big living room with comfortable couches. Beautiful scenery and trees fall colors out the windows over the lake. We mainly used this house to sleep and prepare food for Thanksgiving over at the big house. Chris the owner & Allison the caretaker were both super nice people and informative! Would stay here again. "

"We rented this property for the past holiday. This was my first time staying somewhere without WiFi, and a nearby Walmart and I would definitely do it again. We went during off season so it wasn’t a lot of excursions offered but we all made the most of our time by hiking, taking in the beautiful scenery/animal watching, making s’mores , and spending quality time together. The drive up to it was a bit scary if you’re not used to one lane winding roads but we managed. There’s also a dollar store about 10/15 away that is fully stocked with anything you may need for your stay as well as the camp store. Would recommend 10/10!"

"The Lake House Cottage was perfect for my husband, dogs, and myself. We loved the addition of the loft in this cottage because it worked perfectly as a storage area and allowed us to utilize the space more effectively. The view of lake is wonderful, and the cozy porch was very cozy. "
