The location is absolutely amazing - Lake Placid is such a charming place with conveniently located town shops and restaurants. The Cambria is well suited for all accommodation interest. Our family will definitely return.

I absolutely love this hotel. It was beautiful clean. I was very happy with the aesthetics hotel. It was really nice and we had breakfast here. Definitely enjoyed. I usually will settle for a cheaper hotel usually but we don’t do that no more. It’s better to pay more to get a better experience.

So do yourself a favor and ask if there's a hockey tournament in town when you plan to stay. I had no idea and they didn't offer that little tidbit before I booked my stay. Picture screaming kids running up and down the halls, above and below. Yeah, that was great and relaxing, nope. Also the bed is pretty terrible. There's also a flashing light on the ceiling that goes off every few seconds, might as well be a flash bulb when all the lights are off, so if you're light sensitive, there's that to try and sleep. Regretting this booking.

We arrived and wanted a quiet weekend, it was extreamly loud, kids in the hall bouncing a ball against the wall for two hours. We told the staff but they did nothing and said they already knew. They did not offer any move to another space. Will not stay there again. The gym was nice.

Great place!
Very nice hotel, solid bar and restaurant, very dog friendly. The grounds are situated on Paradox Bay with multiple fire pits near the water. We had a balcony room with Mountain View’s. Only negative was the room was very warm even with the heat off. Would definitely stay again just probably not during hockey travel season. Parents and kids were a bit unruly.
