Loved our stay. The room wss very clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed and huge shower. The hotel is very dog friendly and has beautiful walking trails right behind it. It is approximately 15 minute walk from downtown Lake Placid and close to everything you need.

The noise level was very bad as walls are VERY thin. I heard a baby cry during the night 2 hours straight. They have an AC. That runs all night even in cold weather to lower the bey high temperatures in the room!! It si very loud and very cold. My toilet was overflowing and I was told to take a plunger and do it myself. I didn’t agree to that and they finally came to fix the issue. Breakfast is ok, nothing extraordinary. Butt you have to request housecleaning the night before. With all those factors combined, with the noise being the most important one, I will not be coming back to this hotel. My family agreed too.

This is a well kept hotel that's not too far away from downtown Lake Placid and close to a grocery store, which came in handy for buying food for a hike nearby. I was a little annoyed they stuck me in a room with an adjoining door, where I could hear people in the next room, but it wasn't the end of the world. The rooms are nice, clean, and in very good condition, and the food at the restaurant downstairs is excellent. I was actually surprised and ate their twice. I'd recommend this hotel if you're in the area.

Said pet friendly on the hotel website and on Expedia. No mention of a fee. At check they said $75 us for a pet. I asked them to show me where that was indicated and even got the on staff manager and they. Oils only find it hidden in the frequently asked questions area of the website. Meaning if you didn’t click on the faq you would never see it. Plus the pool had an underwater light that had come loose and was hanging by its electrical wire in the water. Scared us and we exited the pool as fast as possible

Everything is brand new, furnishings and decor very nice, convenient. Large bathroom with good lighting. Couldn't figure out how to turn off the lights on and under the bed, but finally figured it out

Great location to use for a starting point to explore the region. We stayed here 3 nights and had a great time. Property feels new and clean enough. Had some minor cleanliness issues with the room but mostly because I'm picky: Dirty mirrors, dusty light fixtures, mildew in the shower. Beds were clean and VERY comfortable. Slept great. Biggest complaint is how thin the walls are! We could hear every word being spoken in the rooms on either side of us. Since we were staying 3 nights, it became an interesting game to "meet" our new neighbors each night by hearing them through the walls. The pool and gym are both great. Restaurant is a bit pricy but most restaurants in the area are since it's so tourist-y. Overall, I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the area. Just be warned, bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper!

The location is excellent, just a short 5-minute drive to the town center, with supermarkets and other amenities nearby.
