It is remodeled, very rust sticky but chic absolutely beautiful. Everyone is very friendly. The rooms are so adorable clean they gave us a room with a view over Mira lake it was absolutely gorgeous a nice bar a beautiful sitting room. It was well worth the money and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Our stay at Bluebird Lake Placid was very pleasant. We had a great view of the lake and our windows could be opened slightly to let in the clean air. The room was cozy and very modern and furnished nicely. The linens were soft and comfortable. The restroom was roomy. The common areas were gorgeous and the place had a fresh smell of pine wood. I would definitely stay again!

Beautiful!
Stayed here for a weekend trip during peak foliage season. It was a very busy weekend for the town with multiple weddings and a pro mountain biking event. Even with all the activity going on, the staff at this location were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful and the room was spacious and comfortable. The location is great as well since most everything is within a short walking distance. The ONLY issue I had with my whole stay was the parking situation. There was not enough parking for all the bookings by a long shot and I ended up accidentally parking illegally on the street and was told I had to park even further away. 1st world problem for sure but it was definitely inconvenient. I think maybe offering a valet service would be a great way to improve customer satisfaction with this issue! All in all though, I really had a wonderful time here and would definitely both recommend staying and come back and stay here again!

Really liked the property, beautiful lobby and common areas. In downtown Lake Placid so easy walk to all restaurants and shopping. Bar was not open during our stay. Also no desk in the rooms. Loved the attention to environmentally conscious shampoos, lotion, soaps etc. Would recommend!
