It’s an aging hotel that has its repair needs but it’s no different than aging lodges at palisades. Friendly service and clean. I’ll stay again.

It’s an older property and I was aware of it when I made my reservation. What I look for is clean and quiet and it met my expectations. Breakfast was included and there was enough variety to fulfill my needs. I would stay there again.

Convenient location
Convenient location just off I-80 on Hwy.89 (Tahoe direction). Easy acess to downtown Truckee or the other direction to Tahoe City. Quiet when we were there... it's October and everyone here is waiting for snow to fall.

No comfy chairs
The room was serviceable and clean, but there was no comfortable chair to sit in just hard chairs. I really appreciate having a nice comfy chair to sit in while I put on my shoes or just a relax while watching TV

Excellent breakfast and clean room with microwave & refrigerator! Older room but adequate. We were surprised by the breakfast which had lots of options and 24 hour coffee available! Hikers seemed to enjoy this hotel.
