It was ok
We didn’t get any communication back from the property manager , besides the house was not very clean and there were mice inside and ate our bread.

Solid multi-family choice for easy China Peak access
Really nice house for a couple/few families. Good-sized rooms, plenty of beds, a bonus hidden large closet that sleeps your "I love forts" kind of kid really nicely, and good central heating for the downstairs. We didn't try the fireplace upstairs, but if it were any colder we would have and there's wood out in the shed. The kitchen is more than adequately sized, compared to some other places in this size/price range. Nice snow play area right out the back for making igloos and having snowball fights. Not much for sledding though. Overall, great place to stay. Words of caution: Parking: Three cars fit in the driveway. That's it, no more. And there's no street parking. Trash: We got caught off-guard in that all trash is expected to be removed by the guest and brought to... well, you have to figure it out. I'll tell you this, the dumpsters at the hotel down the way are NOT an option (and the hotel owners are NOT happy with Vrbo about it). With a loaded car, this was a bit unpleasant trying to squeeze three days' and three families' worth of trash in for the drive down the hill... Access: The key lockbox (use the top one) is "sticky" to the point where I thought I had the wrong code. Keep trying, I guess. It finally worked for me. Cell: No reception, or not on Verizon at least. Other than those little things, we loved the place and will definitely rent it again.

New Years in Lakeshore
Overall, we enjoyed ourselves, but the place was pretty dirty when we arrived. I actually had to take pictures and send them to the rental agency. There were used q-tips on the floor in one of the bedrooms, as well as underwear and an old beanie under a bed. Also, we found a piece of dried meat behind the cable box, a chewed piece of gum on a window sill, an old sock, and cobwebs in the kitchen. I loved the location and access to the mountains, but the place was really dirty, especially the rugs.

Great Place
Great location for skiing. Lots of rooms were a plus. Only mishap was that a mouse had gotten into one of the rooms downstairs before we arrived and left mouse poops on the bed. (came in through the door to the garage, or outside. No big deal. The house was very clean otherwise.

Average stay near Shaver Lake
We were 10 people, including 8 adults and 2 kids. There are a lot of beds to accommodate us. The location was nice, and it is easy to communicate with the property manager. We had a few concerns. The first one is it was not very well cleaned. The bathrooms (especially the basement one) were not very clean. There were no soaps/shampoos for bath use, which is very rare as per our earlier experiences. The address mentioned in the property is not correct although driving directions were okay. If I give the address mentioned in google map, it says the address does not exist.

Lack of communication and customer service
To start the location was great and the place itself was very spacious. However, there were many other issues that cause me to give it a one star overall. We booked this place with the intention to go to Chinapeak and ride some bike trails for Labor Day weekend. Unfortunately, the week of everything shut down. We contacted management in order to attempt to cancel since we wouldn’t be able to do anything while staying there, to which they responded “you can get to the cabin so no canceling.” Although frustrated we decided to make the best of it. This just got harder once we got there. First the list a deck with a nice view, however the deck was off limits because they had applied a lacquer. They also list in the amenities a bbq so we took food to bbq. The BBQ was on the deck that was off limits so all of our dinner plans were now out the window. They have a huge coffee table which is nice, but it was covered in some sticky residue. There are no cleaning supplies other than dish soap so I just wiped it down with dish soap. They had an empty bottle of soap in the main restroom and for some reason the water down stairs had foamy white tint. It also smelled like smoke downstairs. Normally I’d ignore some small inconveniences but the fact that they didn’t even attempt to discuss the cancellation when they knew we wouldn’t even be able to BBQ or use the deck is frustrating. They could have at least warned us about not being able to use the deck. We planned to BBQ all weekend and ended up having to eat out. Just total lack of good communication and customer service.

Great location, no communication with property owners.
The neighborhood was great and the house was fine. There were a few main problems that tainted our stay. The door lock didn’t work. I got the key out of the key box and the door handle would lock if you pushed down, but you could still open it when pushing up. Emails weren’t returned and texting got no reply. There is no phone service. Also, you can hear everything throughout the house Through the vents. This wouldn’t be a big deal for certain groups, but ours kids all wake up at different times so once one is up everyone is up. Also, you have to haul out your own trash. Other than those things I really loved the location, the neighborhood, the kitchen and lots of extra pillows and blankets. No communication with rental Company and when I finally did get someone on the phone they said they were backed up by 40,000 emails.

Great place to meet up with family
The location was great for a place to get away from the city and be in place with very nice weather. The home had a perfect set up for families with multiple adults and children. It was easy access to recreational areas, fun hikes, and water activities. There was plenty of towels, bedding, and kitchen supplies. The place could use a carpet cleaning and had some maintenance issues that need to be addressed.

Ski Week
This property was perfect for my family ski week. The 6 adults and 5 teenagers fit into this cabin perfectly. There was plenty of hang out space, the kitchen table was able to accommodate all of us. Great little neighborhood that the teenagers could go explore and sled when we weren't on the China Peak slopes. Great rental and we will return!

Cool spot close to lifts. Only issue is WiFi does not work great and there is no cell service. The heating is kind of tricky the thermostat is upstairs so downstairs where most of the bedrooms are gets really hot and upstairs gets really cold.

Terrific home for large groups
We had a terrific time in the home during our weekend trip in early October. The wood burning stove kept the entire upstairs area toasty and the heater warmed up everyone while they were sleeping downstairs. There was plenty of room for all of and our gear. We look forward to staying here again! The only issue we had was finding the home when we arrived in the dark on the first night. Google maps put us in someone's driveway at the end of the street.

Fun Getaway House
This place was a good choice for our annual 7 women getaway since it has 7 beds. It was cozy, but spacious and very well equipped. It's in a quiet residential neighborhood between the two lakes so nothing you can walk to. There were a few minor issues, but overall good place, good value.

Has potential, needs attention
This house has its highs and lows. The layout is nice, the bedrooms are adequate if you read the descriptions and understand one room is large with multiple sleeping spots and others are typical couple sleeping spots. It can hold the 11 or so people that it says. The kitchen amenities has more than most in terms of pots, pans, dishes, and other stuff like that. The entry from street level is great for mountain living. In and out is easy. Its easy to park off street in front of this place. What needs to be addressed is the heater controls are inadequate meaning it will be really hot or really cold, very difficult to keep even. It may be that one of the controls wasn’t working correctly but still it’s system does not seem to work well. We were in winter with teen degrees out. We would freeze then bake. There were no house instructions so figuring things was difficult, many switches that did nothing. We had no phone, tv, nor internet during our week stay. Part of that was mountain living but still needs to be mentioned. We had no idea what to expect. The actual electrical sockets were old enough that items plugged in would just fall out. The house is well used and dirty. A previous renter used the functioning propane BBQ with charcoal, what inconsiderate turd would do that? Still the owner needs to check for stuff like that. Also, we had no water for much of our stay and no idea why which was a lack of communication with the tract and Vacasa. Bring your own supplies, this place does not provide much in terms of soap (dish or laundry), TP, trash bags or kitchen condiments or kitchen towels. In winter, be prepared for dirty looks from the guy that keeps the roads clear. If your outside, your probably doing something wrong according to that tract there is almost nowhere to snow play that won’t upset him. Also, your only suppose to have 2 cars which is almost impossible with 11 people. Be prepared for anything with this mountain stay. Our group is very resourceful and still had a tough time maintaining civil living conditions. Nevertheless we had a great time.
