Beautiful home in a stunning location
Really lovely few days in this fantastic cottage. It’s got everything you need for a getaway. We got lucky with the weather and enjoyed being outside in the day, fishing or in the canoe, and sitting out looking at the stars at night time with a fire going. Communication with the host was exceptional. Thanks!

Outstanding property. Have been to many in several countries. This was one of the best. Great location for kids. Right on the water. Kids fished and swam to their hearts content. Clean and in excellent repair. Owners gave a lot of great info for checking in etc.

Great quiet get away
If you’re looking to spend some personal time or time with family or close friends relaxing, this is a great property. Our stay was from Wed - Sunday and the weekdays were brilliantly quiet. The river running just behind the property, it’s a great backdrop to lounging and relaxing. It was a pleasure to sit with a cup of coffee and hear the birds and the sound of the rapids just down river. The adjacent properties filled up over the weekend but the community is very family filled and as a whole was still relaxing and quite quiet. The bedrooms are very welcoming, comfortable and well kept.

We rented this place for our family Christmas celebration, Joy went way out of her way for us. The place was well equipped - we didn't need anything but ourselves. Cozy, relaxing, quiet
Our family enjoyed our time playing games and relaxing together. The cottage is very nice, comfortable beds, loved the flannel sheets, so cozy with warm wood stove, relaxing view of the flowing river. Visited local museum and shops. Easy communication with Joy and Rachel. Will stay here again.

Lovely getaway
Booked the property for a little getaway with a group of friends and we had the best time!! We had open communication from the host on timing of check-in and everything went smoothly!! Close enough to Perth that we went into town and enjoyed a lovely dinner on our first night! Well stocked with cooking utensils + working bbq for us to enjoy home cooked meals for the rest of the weekend. River was super nice to relax beside + swim in (careful of swimming out too far due to current!!). Had a great time at this property and definitely recommend for a quiet weekend.

Amazing Cottage Getaway!
This is a perfect cottage on the Mississippi River. Remote enough but just a short drive into Perth for anything you may need. The decor is modern and cozy, cottage itself is stunning and spacious. Great rental to relax and recharge. We went to nearby Baird trail for a walk with the dogs, and had a beautiful outdoor fire during the day. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need for wonderful meals. I’d recommend this cottage in all seasons, and would most definitely come back in the summer to take advantage of the water.
